We quickly separate from each other.
"Why are you all wet?"
"Eden fell in the lake and I had to go in after her." says Harry.
"Yah." I agree.
"Of coarse! I should've known, Eden has always been very clumsy."
"Ha. Yup that's me." I say.
"For a second there I thought you two were, cuddling."says Aria.
"CUDDLING?!" exclaims Harry.
"NEVER!" I yell with a bit of laughter.

We all begin to laugh. Harry gives me a relieved look and winks.

The ride home was kind of awkward the whole time Aria was talking about how much fun we had and how funny it was that I fell in the lake. All I could think about was Harry. Then, I realize that I still have his shirt on. A smile comes to my face when I imagine his sisters' reaction to him getting in the car without his shirt. Knowing Harry, she probably wasn't surprised.

After we get to Aria's house, which I'm spending the night at, we go to bed and talk for a little bit like always.

"Wasn't that fun? We should do that again." she says.

"Yah."

I really want to tell her about Harry, about how I feel about him, about how I think he feels about me, about us, about tonight, about everything, but before I can do that I have to know if she likes him first.

"Can you believe that Harry dived into the lake after me, then gave me his shirt? I thought he didn't like me."

"He likes you?" she asks almost worried.

"Not like that."

"Oh. Good." she says rolling over to where I'm facing her back.

"And if he did, would that be surprising?"

"No you're a very likable person, Eden, but it would be bad."

"How so?" I ask offendedly.

She turns to look at me and gives me a confused and troubled look,

"Because... I like him."
