"How about romance?" he asks.
"How about bullying?" I ask.
"No that's too sad." he says.
"Maybe we can write about the problems teens our age face in life." I say.
"Such as?"
"Insecurities."
"So you think we should write a song about insecurities?" he asks lifting an eyebrow.
"Not necessarily just insecurities but about how the flaws that cause those insecurities don't determine who you are."
"That sounds good, I'm thinking a soft, smooth sound."
"Exactly."
After 2 hours of laughing, writing, listening, tickling, writing, laughing, listening, and writing some more, we finally put together part of a song we are very proud of, now all we have to do is add to it every day until Friday.
Friday comes along and we finally get to present our song that we've worked so hard on. Mainly Harry but I helped with some of the lyrics and I can't wait to hear it all come together.
Harry goes up to the front of the class and starts to strum.
"Your hand fits in mine like its made just for me,
But bare this in mind, it was meant to be.
And I'm joining up the dots with the freckles on your cheeks and it all makes sense to me."
Finally listening to the song come together with Harry singing and looking straight into my eyes is absolutely breath taking.
"I know you've never loved the sound of your voice on tape, you never want to know how much you weigh, you still have to squeeze into your jeans but you're perfect to me."
"I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth but if I do, it's you, oh it's you, they add up to, and I'm in love with you and all your little things."
After the song and while everyone is cheering Harry doesn't leave the front of the room, instead he says,"Excuse me, I'd like to do something I've been wanting to do for a while now" he looks at me with the sweetest look in his eyes and asks,
"Eden, will you be my girlfriend?"
