A week has passed since that unfaithful day, and the fragile bluenette was still in her room crying, cutting and falling deeper into the dark abyss of nothingness.

She was numb, she was upset and hurt. She didn't know what to do anymore, she wanted to end her life.

She refused to leave her bedroom, meaning she refused to go to school. Obviously Alya, Nino and Adrien are worried sick about their close friend, but Sabine refuses to let them in because she believes Marinette needs a little alone time.

The three worried teenagers have tried to call Marinette, but she ignores it all. She accepts no calls nor did she even bother noticing text messages.

It was late at night, and Marinette was doing her usual routine: creating scars in her left wrist. She was going deeper and deeper, until she heard a knock at the trap door that lied above her head (The entrance from the balcony).

She quickly pulled down her pink jumper sleeves, making sure nothing was seen. She threw the needle back into her sewing kit and made sure there was no blood on the floor. When she was certain it was all clear and good to go, she walked up the ladder and reached the trap door.

There, was standing the one and only, Chat Noir.

Adrien was so worried about Marinette, since he couldn't contact her or even get let in to see her. So, he decided to visit as his alter ego.

"Chat? What're you doing here, especially this late at night?" That's when it hit her. She forgot about Chat, and all the patrols. Luckily enough, there were no Akumas.

"I've been pretty bored lately, so I thought it'd be claw-some to see my purretty purrincess." Chat rolled his tongue on the pronunciations of the r's. This caused Marinette to instantly face-palm and sigh.

"But why did you come here, to me? I'm worthless and don't deserve company." She looked down at the floor, still stood on the ladder whilst Chat was still sat outside waiting for permission to enter.

"Well, first of, can I come in?" Marinette finally let the cat in, "Secondly, who says you're worthless?" Chat tilted his head in confusion, surely she wouldn't listen to Chloe or Lila...not that Lila spoke to Marinette much anyways.

"I just feel that way, Chat...I know nobody likes me," Marinette walked over to her chaise and carried on talking, "My crush barely knows I exist for fucks sake." She cussed. Chat has never heard nor seen Marinette like this before in his first ego.

"Well," He followed her and crouched in front of her, "You're sure not to me." He smiled gently.

"No, Chat! You're lying. I'm just...I'm...I...I don't deserve anything." Marinette pushes him further away from her, and crosses her arms. A crystal tear falls from her eyes, and she wiped it away. She didn't want to face Chat, so she stared at the ground.

"You've got to be kitten me here, Princess..." Chat said in dis-belief. "You're an amazing person, trust me on that one." He knew Marinette was truly astonishing. He didn't know her too well, but from everything that has happened, he knew Marinette wasn't like this.

"I'm sorry, Chat...can I be alone, please?" Marinette looks up at him for the first time since she pushed him away. He sighed in sadness, and stood up.

"Of course, Mari..." He jumped up and out of her trapdoor. Marinette was shocked at the new nickname.

"Marinette, I think you were a little hard on him...He's just trying to help." Tikki flies out of her hidden place behind a pillow.

"You're right, Tikki. But I just...I don't want anyone with me right now. I just want to watch 'If I Stay and cry myself to sleep." Marinette falls onto her bed with her laptop, and switched it on. She inserted 'If I Stay' and watches it, slowly drifting to sleep.

Chat was staring at her through her window, and frowns. He had to return, for Marinette. He had to be there for her. He knew what she was going through, as this has happened to him before.
