Nowadays you don't really see the fabulous trio anymore. It's either just Mark and Wendy or Mark and Irene. The other students noticed how close Mark was to the girls and began shipping like crazy. They all bet on who will be endgame: MarkDy or MarkRene.
"MarkDy forever!"

"He should really do something soon. Valentine's Day will come in about 3 months. Then comes Wendy's birthday and Irene's."
"I hope he asks Wendy to the dance!"
"No, Irene!"
"Just imagine how cute Mark and Wendy would be together!"
Right?! They could speak English to each other!"
"Nope! Mark and Irene are the cutest."
"I wonder what he'll do for Wendy on her birthday."
"He'll probably do something better for Irene."
