The next day, Wendy begged Jaebum to convince Mark to go to the dance with her. In the end, Wendy got what she wanted. Jaebum talked to Mark in History.
"Are you going with anyone to the dance?"
"No. Are you?"
"I'm hoping to take Seulgi."
"I knew it! You're so in love with her!"
"I guess I am. Why aren't you asking anyone to the dance?"
"I just want to go with my friends."
"Why not go with Wendy?"
"Wendy is just my friend."
"So would you rather go with Irene?"
"Irene is just my friend also."
Jaebum's POV
This doesn't look like it will end well.
Mark's POV
Why are so many people asking me who I'll go to the dance with?
Author's POV
Wendy was in the back looking at Jaebum and Mark talk. She couldn't tell if the conversation was going well or not. They were done talking and Jaebum walked towards her.
"He said you were just his friend."
Wendy frowned.
"Did he say the same about Irene?"
"Yeah."
Wendy's POV
Great, I've been friendzoned. At least he said the same about Irene.

Irene did the same to Seulgi. She begged her to convince Mark to go to the dance with her, which was perfectly fine. Seulgi had to ask Mark a question anyways. In Art, Seulgi walked up to Mark.
"Is Jaebum going to the dance with anyone?"
"No way — do you like him?"
"Yeah..."
"He likes you, too!"
"Really?!"
"I'll tell him to ask you."
"Thank you! Are you going with anyone to the dance?"
"I'm going with my friends."
"You should go with Irene!"
"In a way, I am. I'm going with my friends, but I don't see her more than a friend?"
"Do you feel that way with Wendy as well?"
"Yeah."
