Chapter 8

Rowena's POV

I felt bad for Autmn. She was so fragile with that subject. Cant Astrid see that?


Astrid's POV

"Wait what? What do you mean you're the killer?

Autmn was really crying right now. I know i shouldn't be asking this but i needed to know.

"Im the reason she got killed. Im the reason she turned dark!" She shouted


Autmn was sobbing really loudly right now while Rowena was glaring at me.

"She died when i was young," Autmn said "One day I saw her in the school pool. She was calling out to me. She started telling me what my abilities were. After a few weeks a Dark sider saw her and got ahold of her,i tried to stop it but i was weak. So her energy got sucked up and she was reborn as a dark sider." She said in between sobs.

"She also was blinded with her own abilities. She wanted to be powerful. so she became arrogant." Autmn continued.

"Im so sorry." I said

Autmn's POV

"Guys im gonna get some fresh air."
I said as i rushed out of there.


I was in the hallway now. I slumped against the door and cried.

I cried for Astrid. I hope she can keep up with us.

I cried for the Hunters who have fallen. May they have the peace and respect they needed.

I cried for my mom. I know its hard but what's done is done.

And lastly

I cried for myself. I will do everything i can to put things back. Even if it kills me.


I got up and regained my posture.
I started to get out when i saw a figure walking towards me.

When i blinked i saw nothing again.

It was just you're imagination i said to myself.


Whoosh.

I suddenly was frozen in my place.

I started to shudder. It was getting cold.

Oh no.


Suddenly i felt fingers trailing my skin. I started to get scared.

Then it traveled up to my face.


I closed my eyes and counted to three.






One





Two







Three.......











"Boo!" A voice whispered.

I screamed because the face was so familiar.

Her face was so scary. She was wearing our uniform.

But what scared me the most was that she was crying.


She was crying tears of blood.
