Chapter 44

Autmn's POV

The sword clattered on the ground and I saw Mary's body jerk up.

Blake was standing behind her holding a dagger.

"How could you?" Mary whispered.

Then her body crumpled to the ground.

Blake cut the vines that were holding us.

"Come on. Dark siders will be coming." He urged.

And he was right. The door opened and dark siders came pouring in.

Suddenly two balls of light appeared.

The turquoise one collided into my chest and I realised it was my abilities.

Then the other ball of light collided into Adam.

Dark siders charged and we charged with them.

I crashed a wave on to them.

And froze them as well.

"Split up!" Cole yelled.

Adam's POV

We splitted up. And we ran to the pool.

I grabbed my bow and started to shoot.

My eyes started changing color. And so did Autmn's.

A dark sider grabbed me by the leg and slashed my chest.

He grabbed me by the neck and lifted me up.

Suddenly Autmn screamed and all the dark siders were frozen.

"BREAK!!!!" She yelled.

And all the dark siders exploded into million pieces.

But they were still gaining.

All of us were getting hurt and we were losing.

Cole's POV

I looked over to my left and saw that Autmn,Adam,and Amber were struggling.

I summoned a flame and burned the dark siders.

No use. We were dying.

My arm was bleeding. And all I could do was limp.

I looked over to my left and saw the portals,and I had an idea.

I limped to the portals and grabbed my sword and plunged it in the middle of both portals.

Suddenly all the dark siders and ghost froze.

"Run..." Autmn whispered.

Then the ground started to shake.

"RUN! RUN! RUN!" She ordered.

We started to run and warn the others.

The ground started to shake more violently.

"We're not gonna make it!" Amber screamed.

"Yes we are!" I shouted.

Then the portals exploded.

And so did the whole school.
