Chapter 45

Autmn's POV

"We're not going to make it!!!"

"Yes we are!"

BOOM

I gasped. Sitting up. My eyes wandered over to my surroundings and saw that the school was burnt to the ground.

"Autmn..." A raspy voice called.

I looked over to my right and saw Adam sprawled against the sidewalk.

"Are you okay?" I asked softly,my throat dry.

"Yeah." He said.

I looked around and saw that everyone was here. Recovering from what has happened.

Except for one.

"Blake." I whispered to the wind.

A month later

"Cheers!" We all yelled as we celebrated my birthday.

May 24th.

We clinked our diet cokes together and drank it in one gulp.

Then suddenly I heard

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU,HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR AUTUMMMMNNNN. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!"

I smiled and closed my eyes.

I Made a wish and finally blew out the candles.

"Wohoo!" Adam and the others cheered.

"So Autmn,what did you wish for?" A slightly nosy Cole asked.

"Hmm I wished that you would shut up."

Then he did.

"Huh. I guess you wish came true." Astrid said.

And all of us started laughing.

"Autmn. I think this is yours." My stepmom said handing me a box wrapped in a pretty purple wrapping.

There was a card attached to it,it read

To:Autmn

Happy Birthday.

From:

I ripped it open and saw a beautiful necklace. It was a lily with a pink gemstone attached in the middle.

And inside was a letter.

"Dear Autmn,

I know I disappeared without saying

Goodbye. But I hope you understand

why I did that. If you want to know come meet me at the burnt school. Today. Right now.

Come alone.

-Blake"

I excused myself from the group and went to the school.

The school wasn't being repared. So we had no choice but to transfer.

I took one long look at it again and felt my eyes tearing up.

"Happy Birthday" A voice behind me said.

I jumped and saw Blake behind me.

"Blake." I whispered.

He came up to me and I hugged him.

"Where were you all this time?" I asked

"No time."

"No time for what?"

"No time to explaine. I have something to tell you." He said urgently.

"What?"

"All of us Hunters are in danger."

"What." I gaped at him.

"Just because you got rid of Mary and destroyed the portals doesn't mean we're safe. When you destroyed it,all of the spirits were released. And you awakened something big. The greatest dark sider a Hunter could fear of."

I tensed up.

"You don't mean..." I said shaking.

"Yes Autmn,The Ace of Swords has awakened. And he wants us killed."

I felt my knees grew wobbily and the next thing I knew that I was being carried by Blake.

"Autmn! Autmn! Wake up!"

My eyes fluttered and I saw a panicking Astrid

"What's going on?" I asked

I could hear a commotion going on from below.

"We're being attacked by dark siders. Again."

"What?" I whispered.

And suddenly the door opened and I was greeted by the scariest face I could ever think of.

I screamed and that was it.

Hey guys! I know I know I haven't updated in ages. But this is the last chapter of Paranormal!!

Yes! The journey is done but the trouble isn't.
