Hello peeps.

Sorry I didn't update yesterday. It was my birthday and all. and we were busy.

So yeah.

But Happy Halloween guys!!! since it's Halloween Im gonna give you not one but two chapters!

So this chapter is chapter 30 and the next chapter will be chapter 31 the "Halloween Special"

So enjoy!!!

Chapter 30

Astrid's POV

We ran to where the scream was.

"She's dead." I said to Ed.

"Yeah."

"Hey! Come here!" I yelled at her.

The girl looked at us. And I could tell she was afraid.

"We won't hurt you. But you will get hurt if the bad ghosts get you." Edmund said.

The girl slowly made her way to us.

"Come on. Let's get you to a safe place." I said.

Edmund's POV

We were getting closer to the portals.

Then a Dark sider swooped down.

And more came out.

"Come on!" I yelled.

I dragged the girl to the portal.

"Get in. It will be ok." I say to her.

"Thanks." She whispered.

Then a bright light shined and she was gone.

"Aaaw. Another victim. Gone" A dark sider snarled.

Astrid snorted.

"This won't be the last time your victims will be gone." She said.

"We'll see."

Then they surged forward.

Astrid's POV

We grabbed our ghost torches and went to fight.

I started to jab and slash them until they returned into the portal.

A dark sider grabbed my torch and knocked it out of my hand.

And it made me angry.

"Look at me!" I said sternly.

She looked at me.

"You are going to that portal." I pointed to the portal where dark siders go.

"And you are going to stay there for the rest of your life." I said sealing the deal.

Then she was gone.

I saw my ghost torch and picked it up.

I looked over to Ed and he was having trouble.

I ran to him.

And started helping him fight the dark siders.

One more to go.

But this dark sider was strong.

Edmund kicked him and punched him but it was no use.

"Ed! Pinn him down!" I yelled at him.

"Why me?" He asked. Clearly getting frustrated.

"Because you're the only one who can hold ghosts,idiot!" I shot back.

He glared at me but did what I said.

It took him a few blows and cuts on his arms but after a while he pinned the ghost down.

I grabbed a torch and stabbed it in it's chest. Very Hardly.

And he was gone.

Everything was going great until a dark sider sucked Ed's energy causing him to black out.

"Ed!" I screamed.

Then the dark sider slashed my leg.

I howled in pain.

I limped over to where Ed was.

But the dark sider kicked my stomach.

And continued to beat me up.

I screamed and writhed in pain.

I crawled to where Ed was.

"Edmund! Wake up!" I said trying to compel him.

"Edmund please wake up." I screamed with charmspeak.

Then the dark sider towered over us. We're gonna die.

"Ed!!!!" I screamed until my voice ran out.

Edmund's POV

"Ed!!!!" I heard Astrid scream.

I heard the terror in her voice and that's what compelled me to fight.

I got up and jabbed my hand in the dark siders chest.

And he was gone.

"Ed.." Astrid said.

Then she hugged me.

Amber's POV

"Where were you guys?!" I asked them angrily.

Astrid and Edmund immediately explained.

Silence.

"Sooo.. Did you guys kiss after the hug." Cole teased.

"What!" They both said blushing.

And we laughed and laughed.
