Emma POV -
Today was the day I had been dreading! August was coming home from his family holiday, even tho we had talked everyday over the summer holidays I knew what was coming, he was going to ask me out I just knew it! I had got lost in my thoughts till I hear my mother calling out to me.
"Emma!! Are you even listening to me? Breakfast is ready." She yelled from down stairs.
Oh shit! "Yeah Coming" I quickly raced down stairs to see my parents in the kitchen waiting for me.
"Ah, finally here I see, You mother called you about 5 times, something really must of been on your mind?" My father question me.
"Oh no I was just listening to my music a bit to loud" I lied not really wanting to talk about August.
I sat down eating my bacon & eggs, "Thanks mum this is amazing" saying as I continued to eat.
"Ha! Mine would of been way better" Dad said joking, we all know my dad sucks at cooking.
We all laughed and continued to finish breakfast, I really loved my family they were everything to me, I really don't know what I would do without them.
"Knock Knock"
I turned around to see August walking in the back door with a big goofy smile on his face, I tried to make a convincing smile back but before I even knew it he had run over to me giving me a massive bear hug. My parents decided to leave the room at this point leaving just August and I! Great!
"Hi August mind letting me go" I saying trying to catch my breath, Wow! he has really gotten strong over the summer.
"Oh shit, sorry Emma I'm just so glad to see you" Still with that big goofy smile.
Things were a little weird & silent of a moment till August ask if we could go of a walk, I know what was coming.
"Umm... Yeah sure" I said hesitating "Mum I'm just going for a walk with August" I shout out to her.
We walked in silent for a bit as we walked towards the river behind my house, we loved to play there as children so many good memories swimming, fishing and just being silly. I started to relax thinking of all the great times till August broke the silent.
"Um Emma there is something I wanted to ask you"
OH NO!! Here it comes!!!
