Chapter 16 - Confused

Emma POV

I had been driving around for about 30 minutes not even sure where to go, I thought about going to Killian's but I knew that would be the first place my parent would look for me. I ended up on a hill that over looked the docks and out to the ocean 'not that I could see it'. I just sat there still in shock that I had just hit someone and that someone was Milah! I couldn't help just cry even tho I didn't really know why I was.

After about an other 30 minutes I heard foot steps behind me, I didn't look back guessing it would be dad or maybe Killian if I was lucky. But to my surprise August sat down beside me. "Long time no see." He said awkwardly, I really wasn't in the mood for his shit right now! "What the hell do you want!" he didn't even respond he just pulled me in for a tight hug, I couldn't help but let the tears fall I really had missed my best friend even tho he made me so mad! "I'm sorry Emma" He whispered in my ear, I pulled out of his grasp "I don't think Regina would like this, thought you were one of her puppets?" I spat, August lowered his head "Emma that's all I was! I thought she really did like me but she was cheating on me the whole time with the dickhead Robin!" He cleared his throat and tried to hold in his tears, he was broken just like Killian. I pulled him back into the tight warm hug "I'm sorry August, I really would love my best friend back?" I said over my sobs. "Me too Emma" He smile and gave me a little peak on the cheek.

"So what are you doing here anyway?" He asked, I didn't know if I should tell him, what if he had been lying about Regina just to get information out of me. I look up into his eye and all I saw was pain and heartache just as I had seen in Killian's eye when he spoke of Milah. I knew I could trust him, I told him everything as we sat embracing each other tears falling down both of our faces.

Killian POV

After around an hour I gave up my search and headed to David and Mary Margaret's to see how they were holding up. I gave a little knock and walked inside just about running into Mary Margaret "Oh Killian I thought you might of been Emma, she's not with you?" I shook my head then followed her to the lounge room where David was sitting across from a women with dark hair who I guessed to be the one Emma had hit. I walked over pasted her giving David a manly hug which was interrupted "Killian?" I turn in shock "Milah!? What are you doing here?" I asked confused "I was here picking up Conor" Milah saying in a soft tune. "Did you want me mum?" said a young little boy as he walked into the living room. I completely froze! Conor looked me dead in the eyes, I felt as if I was looking in the mirror at my younger self.

"Ummm...Ahhh... Heeeey?" Trying to speak as I stumbled over the words! "I think we should get going, thank you again for looking after Conor." Milah said to Mary Margaret "And I will call you tomorrow about that appointment Killian." I just nodded and they left. After Milah had left David seemed confused, but Mary Margaret seemed fine. Emma had told her everything including a little about Milah, so I'm guessing she had put two and two together. "David maybe you should try Emma again?" She said giving him that just do as your told look, and David left the room.

"You doing alright Killian? If I had know Milah was your Ex I would have never said yes to looking after Conor but Emma wouldn't tell me her name." Mary Margaret said sweetly "Um yeah I think I'm fine, just makes it more real. And it not your fault." My voice was shaken, I couldn't get his blue eyes out of my head! "I'm guessing that appointment she was talking about is it find out if he is yours?" She questioned, I simply nodded. 'I think I already know the answer. 

David POV

I went off to ring Emma, I dialed her number and then could hear her ringtone from the other side of the front door! I quickly opened it to Emma standing there with August. 'Wait August? When did they start talking again?' Yet again for the third time tonight I was confused as hell! "August?" I shouted, forgetting I should be yelling at Emma for what she did to Milah. "Oh hey David! Ummm I better go, see you at school on Monday Em!" He said running as fast as his legs could take him and Emma trying to sneak inside and up to her room. "Young Lady! Where do you think your going!"Shouting at the top my lungs, Killian and Mary Margaret must of hear as they ran in "Swan! your alright!" Killian said as he gave Emma a tight hug 'He was a little to close to my daughter for my liking! "Emma why did you do that!? Milah is my problem not yours! But it is sweet you stood up for me." He said with a little smirk, I was getting more confused and starting to get mad! "What in the hell is going on here!" I had lost it! Emma pulled away from Killian and gave Mary Margaret a look! "Sweetheart I think it's time I tell you whats going on." Mary Margaret said to me, then grabbed my hand and lead me to our bedroom. 

Author note: I originally had more to this chapter but was starting to get long! So you will have to wait till tomorrow for David's reaction!  xx
