Chapter 18 - Acceptance

Emma POV

I was in the lounge room at Liam's watching TV when someone came in "Morning Swan, Where is everyone?" Killian asked as he joined me. "Elsa is on a walk and Liam is.. well I don't know" I said with a little giggle. "Maybe we should do some study till they get back seeing as we missed it last night?" He asked, I nodded and we went into the kitchen and began.

About 30 mins later Elsa came home, getting changed and heading out again to see Anna. As she left Liam come back with my dad? Killian quickly got up and head towards the back door "Killian Wait!" My dad said "I wish to speak with you and Emma" Saying as he sat down at the kitchen table over from me with Liam beside him and Killian returned to his set next to me.

"Emma, I'm sorry about yelling at you last night and for what I said." Dad mumbled under his breath "Well! That isn't gonna cut it!" I spat with rage "Emma!" Killian yelled "He is trying to say sorry! He has the right to be mad and he is giving you a second chance just like you should be giving him." What! why is he standing up for my dad and not me! "He is right Emma, I want to give you both a second chance and I just want my little girl safe." Dad said as he began to cry. Liam gave me a serious look as to say 'You better forgive him' I got up going around the table and gave my Dad a hug "I'm sorry too" was all I could get out as he pulled me in tighter "I love you Emma, please just tell me these things from now on?" I nodded as we broke our hug "Killian would I be able to speak with you alone? Dad asked "Um sure" I Killian said.

Killian POV

I followed David outside and sat with him on the porch. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you mate but could you blame me after how you reacted?" I said trying to lighten the mood, it somehow worked "Yea! Very true" David said with a laugh "I know you care about Emma and I just wanted you to know I trust you and that I should of from that start. But till Emma is finished school I will be watching you like a hawk!" He said half jokingly but I could see the seriousness in this eyes. "Aye I do and I wouldn't have to any other way" I say as I blush at the thought of Emma. David then pulling me in for a hug "Now lets get back" He said as I followed him inside. Once we where back with everyone my phone rang "Hello?"I answered "Killian, it's Milah we have an appointment tomorrow at four, does that suit you?" She asked 'I guess it will have too' I thought to myself before answering her "That's fine, I'll see you then." I said ranging up.

"Everything ok?" Liam asked and I just nodded "Ok well what do you say about a barbecue tonight?" We all agreed. Somehow after all the craziness for yesterday things where back to normal, for now at least.  

Milah POV (Next day - Monday)

Four o'clock couldn't come any sooner! After that bitch hit me I just wanted to find out if this little shit was Killian! Then I would be able to get on with my life. It was finally time, Killian and I walked into the doctor office and took our seats. "Afternoon I'm Dr Whale" The doctor then paused looking at Killian "Oh! Mr Jones, how you are? I don't think I've seen you since you saved Miss Swan" Wait! Killian saved that stupid blonde! "If you don't mind can you make this fast, I have other things to do!" I say nicely faking a smile. "Oh sorry Miss, Killian all we need from you is a little bit of blood and then we will be able to get the results in about a week." Dr whale said "A week! Seriously!?" I half shouted I was losing my cool. "Milah there isn't a rush, right?" Killian asked sweetly. 'God he made me sick!' "Well guess it can't be helped!" I said then leaving Killian to finish up. 

(One week later)

I got home from my shitty job ready to punch someone! 'Maybe I should punch that swan girl and give her some pay back' I thought as I grabbed the mail and headed inside! I looked though the mail seeing a letter from Mary Margaret about some stupid work thing she was having, had told her not to invite me to. "God that women drives me crazy!" I shouted making Conor jump "Oh hey kid!" I said then going back to my letters to see one from the hospital. I quickly opened and read it. "Conor get your bags packed now!" I shouted "What why?" He asked "Don't ask questions just do as your told!" I scolded him. Soon enough we were in the car heading out for this shit hole of a town! But I just had one more stop to make.

Author Note: Watt-pad hated me today! Had is chapter written but only a little bit of it saved! So I had to do all over! Hope you enjoy it!
