Chapter 19 - Conor

Killian POV

The past week had gone pretty fast as I was doing everything and anything to avoid thinking about Conor and if he was mine. I didn't really mind the thought of having a son, I just didn't want one with Milah. I would often take Emma and August to her house after school and then go for a run along the river till Liam and David came home for work, then the three of us could hang out. 

Today was one of those days we having a few beers and watching baseball on TV and then would have tea at either Liam's or David's. It had become a little routine of ours and David had finally come around to the fact that nothing was going to happen with Emma and I till she graduated, even tho it killed me!

It was about nine o'clock when I deiced to head home, not that really spent much time there anymore, Liam had offered that I just move in with him as I'm always there anyway but with his wedding only 2 months away I didn't think it was the best idea. I pulled up to my apartment to see someone sitting out front with their head down and their knees up to their chest, I walked up to see a young boy "Hey you ok kid?" I nicely ask as he looked up, It was Conor! "My mum left me here and said to give these to you, you Killian right?" He said over his sobs and handing me two letters. I read the first which was from Milah. 

Killian,

Have fun raising this little shit, don't try and find me! I want nothing to do with you or that kid! He is lucky I even took the time to find you. 

With all my hate Milah!

Her letter was short but got the message across, I looked at the second letting containing the results confirming Conor was mine! I dropped everything I was holding and picked him up into a big hug which confused him "Conor I'm your dad and I'm not planning me leaving you, I promise!" His eyes widened and a massive smile took over his face as he held me tight, then I took him inside out of the cold.

Emma POV (Next day)

As I walked into math with Ruby and August we all notice Killian wasn't there. We sat down as a substitute teacher begin the lesson "I wonder where Mrs hottie is?" Ruby whispered, I just shrugged then got out my phone and sending him a text asking where he was.

At lunch time Killian finally replied 'Hey Swan, sorry I didn't let you know I wasn't going to be there today, just been busy. I'll come pick you up from school tonight and we can talk.' I didn't relies I had a massive smile on my face "Someone is happy!" Belle said as she tired to look at my phone "Who is KJ!? shouted ruby after stealing my phone. I was smart enough not to have Killian's name just in case this ever happen. "Yeah who is it?" August said playing a long with the girls which I returned with a angry look. "Look! he's picking her up tonight!" Aurora squealed as she read our conversation "Thought you didn't like any guys?" Ruby teased "I didn't! But maybe now I do, and I'm not telling you anything about him!" I said poking my tongue out like a little girl and snatching my phone back, which coursed us all to laugh.

(After School)

I told Killian to come a bit later so the girls won't see, luckily they were so wrapped up in their own lives they had forgot 'KJ' was picking me up anyway. Killian finally pulled up "Hey swan" he said as I got in the car giving me a cute smile "Hi Emma!" I nearly jump up of my seat as I turn to see Conor in the back seat? "Umm.. Hi?" saying with confusion then looking at Killian who had a little smug smile on his face "I'll explain when we get to Liam's place" he said as he drove off.

Once at Liam's we walked inside to see my parents, Liam, Elsa, Anna and her husband Kris who I had meet once before. They all had the same confused looks on their face that I did."Little brother, what's going on? And why is Milah's kid here?" Liam asked looking as if he already knew the answer. "Well your 'younger' brother would like you to meet your nephew." Killian said with a massive smile on his face,  as we all where in a bit on shock. "WHAT!! So now Milah is going to be in your life forever! Great!" Liam shouted which must of scared Conor as he came beside me wrapping his arms around my waist 'I guess we really had bonded in that one night' I thought and saw Killian smile even wider looking at Conor and I.

"Liam please don't shout and no Milah is not going to be in my life or Conor's either, she only found me so she could dump him and go back to her old ways." He paused "And also I'm moving" My mouth drop to the floor "WHAT!?" I yelled somehow not scaring Conor he just hugged me tighter "Calm down swan." Killian said with a giggle and put his arm around me and Conor. "I'm moving house, not town silly. My apartment isn't big enough for both Conor and I, plus I only have one bed remember" He said with a smirk making Conor and I giggle. "Was that why you weren't at school today?" I questioned, he nodded "I move into my new place Friday, so if anyone wants to help me move I might be able to get them out of school too" Killian said giving me a wink. I gave me parents puppy dog eye hoping they would say yes. "I guess we could help" dad said with a smile.

"While we have everyone here Liam and I have something to ask you all" Elsa said with Liam continuing "We would love for you of all to be a part of our wedding?" He said with a big smile. Everyone beamed with joy "Of course" will all said in unison and coming in for a group hug with Conor right in the middle.
