Everyone has to have at least thought of this at least once.

The huge "What if?"

What if Channary never died?

What if Cinder wasn't in a fire?

The story idea itself is wonderful, except the way people do it is not.

Marissa Meyer said it herself, and so did Thorne (b/c you can trust his word on anything). Cinder would most likely be just as bad as her aunt and mom if she was never sent to Earth.

People always put her as someone like Winter, the perfect sweet princess that hates glamour and is an angel to everyone and is mistreated by Channary and Levana. Then there's a marriage alliance between Kai and Cinder and they fall in live and overthrow the evil sisters.

No. Just stop.

When Cinder had just awakened her glamour, even after a lifetime filled with being taught that it was this horrible and terrifying power, that it was a sin against humanity, she began becoming addicted to it. Imagine if she was raised in a place where glamour is a part of everyday life, and you were honored the more powerful your glamour was. Winter only became aware of how terrifying it was because of that servant she saved from suicide, who began to fear her because of the wonderful thoughts Winter placed in her head.

(Should I flip a table right here?)

CINDER IS WHO SHE IS BECAUSE OF ALL THE SUFFERING SHE WENT THROUGH, DON'T MAKE HER THE PERFECT SWEET GIRL YOU WANT HER TO BE BECAUSE YOU WANT HER TI BE THAT WAY.

Another thing — she always knows Cress and Wolf. How the heck is she supposed to know them? Cress is on a freaking satellite who knows how far away, and Wolf was part of the mutant soldiers. How the heck is she supposed to know them?

*flips table and once again exits dramatically*
