Ava's life changed after she moved into the neighborhood, her life became crazy, dramatic, and her love life got messed up. I guess you can say it's all because of her bad neighbors, Kian and Jc

I look at my outfit in the mirror to see if it looks nice. After a few minutes of contemplating if it's nice or not, I convinced myself that it was nice.

Someone knocked on the door.
"Come in." I say
"You ready?" Matthew asks as he comes in
"Yeah." I smile
We walk out of my house and get into our Uber.

"Matthew, I'm going to get a drink." I say while Matthew talks to some guy
"Okay." Matthew says
He's been ignoring me all night. He's been in and out of conversations with different people, and has left no time to talk to me. I'm not familiar with the people he's talking to, so the conversations have been long and boring on my behalf. I chose drinking as my way of escaping the awful night I've had so far. As I walked into the kitchen I notice someone familiar pouring himself a drink.
"Hey Ava." Kian says as he looks up from pouring his drink.
"What are you doing here?" I ask
"Oh Jc and I were invited." Kian says
"You don't know how happy I am to see you guys."I say
"Ava!" Jc yells as he comes up to me and gives me a hug.
"Justin." I smile
"Hey where's Matthew? I want to go say hi." Jc says
"I'm not sure. Let's go find him." I say as I grab the drink out of Kian's hand. Kian looks at me confused. I smile at him and take a sip of the drink.
"If we're going to find Matthew, I need this." I say
Kian nods and turns to lead the way to find Matthew. We walk to where Matt was last, but he wasn't there. As we look around the party, I spot him talking to a girl in the corner of the room.
"Matthew what are you doing?" I ask as I walk up to them.
"Ava." Matthew says as he moves his arm from around the girl.
"Are you going to tell me what's going on?" I ask
"Let's talk outside." Matthew says
We walk to the door and exit out to the front of the house.
"What's wrong with you?" I ask
"I don't know, I just haven't been feeling our relationship." Matthew says
"We're only been together for two weeks. If you felt this way, why didn't you tell me?" I ask
"I didn't want to ruin the night." Matthew says
"Then why did you have your arm around that girl?" I ask
"I'm an idiot. I thought you breaking up with me would be easier, so I gave you a reason to break up with me." Matthew says
"By cheating on me?" I ask
"It seemed like a good idea." Matthew says
"I think what a good idea would've been is you telling me that you don't have strong feelings for me anymore and would like to end things." I say
"I realized." Matthew says
"I don't even know what to say to you right now." I say as I turn away to wipe the tears in my eyes.
"Ava, I was never trying to hurt your feelings." Matthew says
"Well you did." I say as I walk away.
"Do you want a ride home?" Matthew yells after me
"Fuck off!" I yell back
I walk back into the party to Kian and Jc waiting for me by the door.
"Want us to take you home?" Kian asks
"Please." I say
We walk back outside and get in the Jc's car.
"I can't believe Matthew." I say
"Don't forgive him." Jc says
"Never planned on it." I say
"He doesn't deserve you." Kian says
I begin sobbing causing Kian to turn around from the passenger seat and places his hand on my knee.
"Ava, don't cry. Matthew isn't worth your time." Kian says
I remain sobbing my eyes out, and not responding back to any of Kian and Jc's comments. This night has truly been the worst.
