Two Weeks Later

Ava's Pov
I was finishing my class homework when I received a text from Tyler.

Tyler- Dinner tonight?

Ava- Yeah

Tyler- See you at 8 ;)

For the past two weeks, Tyler and I have been talking almost everyday. I really think he's the guy of my dreams.

I finish the rest of my homework and close my laptop. I place it on my bed and get up to go downstairs. The house has been pretty quiet recently; Sierra left yesterday to go back to New York, Jacob has been going out a lot to distract himself from his breakup, and the guys haven't come to visit that much. I'm not sure why Kian and Jc haven't come to visit, they're probably busy filming videos.

I decide to go walk to Kian and Jc's house to say hi. I knock on their door until Kian answers.

"Hey." Kian smiles

"Hey, do you want to hang right now?" I ask

"Yeah come in." Kian says as he opens the door wider

I follow him in and we go to their living room.

"So what's up? I haven't seen you guys in a while." I say

"We've been filming so many videos." Kian says

"That's what I figured. Where's Jc?" I ask

"He's out with our friend, Dom." Kian says

"Oh." I say

"So what's new with you?" Kian asks

"Just a lot of school work." I say

"Happy I'm not in school." Kian says

"Lucky you." I say

"So what's up with you and Tyler?" Kian asks

"We've been talking for the past few weeks. He's really nice." I smile

"Do you think you're going to date him?" Kian asks

"I don't know." I shrug

"You're too pretty for him." Kian says

I laugh in response.

"I'm serious. He's doesn't deserve you." Kian says

"Who deserves me then?" I ask

"I don't know, but not Tyler." Kian says

"Chill, I don't even know what Tyler and I are yet." I say

Kian shrugs.

"Speaking of which, I have dinner with him tonight. I need to get ready soon." I say

"What time do you have dinner?" Kian asks

"8:00pm." I say

"Dude it's 4:00, you have time. Let's watch a movie?" Kian asks

"Okay sure." I smile

I just got back home from my dinner with Tyler. The night went well and ended up with him asking me to be his girlfriend!

I was so surprised, yet so happy. My reaction didn't compare, however, to Jacob's. After I told him about it, he got weirded out. He knew he couldn't be too mad because he did date my friend too. However, I could tell by his facial expression that he was not supporting of it.

"But like why my friend?" Jacob asks

"I didn't like him because he's your friend, he's a nice guy and I think he'll treat me good." I say

"I know he won't. His past relationships have been toxic." Jacob says

"Probably not his fault, I mean I've had toxic relationships. I wasn't the one who was toxic though." I say

"Yeah okay, but this is different. You're my little sister and I don't need one of my friends hurting your feelings." Jacob says

"Chill, I can handle myself. Tyler and I are happy, you should be happy for us." I say

"I am happy that you're happy, but I'm not happy that your happiness comes from being with my friend." Jacob says

"You're so dramatic." I say

"I'm dramatic? Did you forget that Kian or Jc is in love with you?" Jacob asks

"I thought you were joking about that." I say

"Umm, I wasn't." Jacob says

"Well I'm going to think of it as a joke. Kian and Jc are my close friends, if one of them was in love with me they would've said it by now." I say

"Sometimes you're really smart, but most of the time you're a dumb ass." Jacob says

"Shut up. Go cry over Maddie some more." I say

Jacob rolls his eyes and gets up from the table.

"You'll see, I'm always right." Jacob says as he walks away to his room.

Next Day

Ava's Pov

I was in the middle of cleaning the kitchen counter when the doorbell rang.

I walk over to it and open the door to see Kian and Jc. They were both holding bouquets of flowers.

"For me?" I ask

"Yeah." Kian says

"Aww you guys are so sweet." I say

"Not from us, it was on your doorstep when we got here." Jc says

"Oh does it have a card?" I ask

"Yeah, here it is." Jc says as he hands me the card.

I open it and read it in our loud.

"Aww." I smile

"Tyler? Are you guys dating now?" Jc asks

"Yeah." I say

"Since when?" Kian asks

"Yesterday." I smile

Lover boy's Pov

My chance is officially over. I'm such a fucking idiot for not admitting my feelings for her sooner.

Ava's Pov

I take the flowers from Kian and Jc to go put them in a vase. The guys follow behind me into the kitchen.

Just another obstacle in the way, she'll be mine one day. No matter how long it takes.
