Ava's Pov
Here I was.
Sitting in silence in my living room with Kian and Jc. We all sat in different corners of the room trying to avoid eye contact.
Jc broke the awkward silence by finally speaking up.
"So..." Jc says
"So..." I say
"Wait don't start." Jacob says while he walks into the living room with a bowl of popcorn. He sits down on the couch next to me.
"Okay start." Jacob says
I turn my head to him.
"Seriously?" I ask
"What?" Jacob says with a mouthful of popcorn
"Idiot." I say
"I guess I'll talk first. Ava will you marry me?" Kian asks
"WHAT?" Jc and I yell
"Oh this is getting good." Jacob says
"I was kidding." Kian says
"Okay well I was the one who wanted to have this meeting so I guess I'll get to the main point. Ava, I know Kian and I both expressed our feelings to you, but you never really gave us a response to it." Jc says
"I have a boyfriend." I say as I look at the both of them
"Who's moving." Jacob says
I turn my head and give Jacob a dirty look.
"My response is that I have a boyfriend and I value the friendship I have with the both of you." I say
"Ava, like I said last night. I totally understand how you feel about this situation and you can take all the time you want to figure things out." Kian says
"What do you mean last night? You guys talked?" Jc asks
"Yeah, Kian gave me a ride home." I say
"But you texted me last night to give you a ride?" Jc asks
"Yeah, but you didn't respond so I texted Kian." I say
"So you chose me first." Jc says
"What are you trying to get at?" Kian asks
"She chose me over you to pick her up! She wanted to see me before she saw you." Jc says to Kian
"Wait what the fuck." Kian says as he looks at me
"Guys, I just texted the contact I saw first. J comes before K in the alphabet." I say
"No, I think Jc has a point." Kian says
"No, I think you're both idiots." I say
They both stay silent.
"I have a boyfriend. I've been saying this so much that it's getting annoying at this point. As friends you should respect my relationship!" I yell
