(19) Sister

Two Days Later

Ava's Pov

Sierra arrived from New York earlier today. We've been catching up for the past few hours, until we were interrupted by Kian and Jc.

"Hey guys, this is my sister Sierra." I say as they sit down next to me on the couch

"Nice to meet you, my name is Kian." Kian says

"And I'm Jc." Jc says

"Nice to meet you guys." Sierra smiles

"So what'd guys do today?" I ask

"We filmed another video." Kian says

"A this or that video." Jc says

"What does that mean?" I ask

"We asked our Twitter followers to answer different polls, then we guess what they would answer." Jc says

"Oh sounds fun." I smile

"Wait you guys are Youtubers?" Sierra asks

"Yeah." Kian and Jc both say

"That's so cool." Sierra says

Sierra and the guys go into a full on conversation about their YouTube channel. I already know most of the things they are talking about so I decide to look through Instagram while they talk.

Few minutes into my Instagram searches, here I am on Tyler's page. Hate to admit that I'm a stalker, but I want to find out more about him. The thought of him has been running through my head for the past two days.

"Right Ava?" Kian asks

I look up from my phone to see all of them staring at me.

"What?" I ask

"I asked you if-" Kian starts to say but is cut off by Jacob walking into the room

"What's up bitches." Jacob smiles

I roll my eyes, but suddenly stop when I see Tyler standing behind Jacob.

"Hey." Tyler says as he looks at me

"Hi." I smile

Jacob introduces Tyler to Kian and Jc, while I stare in astonishment over his perfect face.

"Stop staring at my friend you weirdo." Jacob says to me

I look away from Tyler to meet eye contact with Jacob.

"Shut up." I say

Ava stared at him the same way I stare at her. I'm fucked. She's in love with someone else.

I spent the night watching Ava obsess over Tyler. Every time she said his name, my heart hurt. Every time she laughed at one of his jokes, my heart hurt. Every time she smiled at him, my heart hurt.

The pain became unbearable, so I lied that I didn't feel good. I went home and instantly regretted leaving Ava and Tyler alone.

Ava's Pov

The night was coming to an end; Kian and Jc went home, Sierra went to her room to FaceTime her boyfriend, and Jacob went to shower.
Leaving Tyler and I alone.

"I had a nice time tonight, but I have work tomorrow. Thank you for letting me come over." Tyler says as he stands up from the couch

"Of course, you can come over anytime." I smile

I stand up from the couch and walk him to the door.

"Would you want to hang out sometime?" Tyler asks

"Yeah, like just the two of us?" I ask

"Yeah." Tyler smiles

"Yeah I'm down." I smile

Tyler and I stare at each other for a second, until suddenly he puts his hand on my cheek and pulls me closer to him with his other hand. He leans in and we kiss.

I stood by my window and watched them kiss.

My heart broke.
