What just happened?
Me and Skye are too shocked to even say anything, and the silence continues till we're back at the cafeteria for the end of nutrition. Skye abruptly takes a seat at the table and I sit across from her.
"Well that was..." Is all she can manage.
"Yea..."
"So, he has a messed up family, and some sort of real family in England that he left behind?"
"That's what I made of it for the most part"
"That sucks."
"I know. It must take a lot to make him scream at strangers."
"You can't blame him, what we know is only what he told us, it could only get worse. And by the state of him, it is"
The bell rings and I walk to third period. Only when I'm at the door do I realize that Brad sits next to me in class. I half expect him to not show up to class, but he takes a seat right when the bell rings. I try not to stare at him, but when I glance to the side, his eyes are burning into me. My eyes meet his and I look away quickly, embarrassed that he saw me staring at him.
"You will turn it in at the end of class even if your aren't done. You have about fifteen minutes and the textbooks should be at the end of your rows."
That's all I here of the instructions and I realize we're doing chapter review questions so I grab a textbook. Next to me, Brad has already started, but doesn't seem to really be doing the assignment because he's scribbling something down on his piece of paper madly. I look away and open my textbook slowly and begin to work on the assignment when in the corner of my eye, I see Brad sticking the piece of paper in my backpack. I know I'm not supposed to realize that the paper is in my backpack till later, so I pretend I didn't see him slip it in, but the anxiety starts to eat at me. What could be in it? Is it something about what he said? I have to open it!!!! The bell rings finally and I rush out of class in a hurry to see what the slip says.

Soz, very very short chapter, just felt like it needed an update, basically a really bad cliffhanger but I'll be updating as soon as school chills out so for now just fillers \_(•_•)_/
