⠀⠀⠀⠀The next day passed in silence, and everybody decided that the police were never going to come and fulfil the interviews that they had all been basically promised. Quite a few of the holidayers left the room, and went on walks to get their mind off of things, but nobody knew that they weren't all going to come back.

⠀⠀⠀⠀Brynn, Chloe and Lexee decided to use the time to sit on the balcony and do nothing more but just look out onto everything and see what the world was up to. Silence was covering the three of them like a blanket, since they didn't have Nathan, Alexander or Maddie - who had all gone out separate to get their off things - and they didn't want to think about the murders right now without all six of them.

⠀⠀⠀⠀"Thank you," Maddie said with a weak smile as she accepted the change from the street vendor inside the Disneyland park. She'd decided to go and get her family, bar Mackenzie since her sister was in the park as well, presents, but she'd gotten a craving for a hot dog, so Maddie had decided to get one of the meat delights and then go sit inside the maze, where everything was quiet.

⠀⠀⠀⠀She found the green maze, like the ones she'd seen on the TV, in films such as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and a bench, quite near the entrance, where Maddie parked herself and begun to take small dainty bites of her hot dog. Maddie called herself a mostly vegetarian, since she only even ate meat when her mind was in distress and she found herself in need of strong protein. The death of her best friend, and another boy that she could've called her friend, counted as her mind being in distress, didn't it.

⠀⠀⠀⠀"Are you okay?" a voice penetrated Maddie's meat fuelled cloud of concentration and she snapped her head up to see a rather large and brightly dressed Disney character, which she guessed was either Tweedle Dee or Tweedle Dum - both got on her nerves terribly. Maddie let out a small sigh and rose to her feet, pushing the person in the fat suit to the side, who blatantly didn't have very good balance on their small little feet, since they immediately fell onto their side, causing heir costume to fall off and reveal a MCR tank top that seemed to be hiding a horrendous mop of chest hair.

⠀⠀⠀⠀The brunette gagged and ran away through the maze, leaving whichever annoying twin it was with a screaming three-year-old, who had just had their dreams of Disneyland shattered. Maddie felt a touch of remorse, but not enough to go back to the little girl, who weirdly enough seemed to be alone.

⠀⠀⠀⠀Luckily there was another bench, although one more quiet, just a few nature walled corridors away. Maddie, giving a sigh of delight, threw herself down onto it and took another bite of her hot dog, which seemed to be growing cold now, and went back to her silence.

⠀⠀⠀⠀"Are you okay?" Maddie gave a sigh and pursed her lips and quickly scuttled to her feet, storming away from the other twin, who seemed to have arrived to check that the brunette was okay, deep into the heart of the maze. All of the corridors looked eerily similar, making Maddie's stomach gurgle with the thought that she might get lost in here, or even worse, suffer a fate like Liam and Kendall.

⠀⠀⠀⠀She decided she didn't want the rest of her hot dog, and so she chucked it to the side, letting the meat hit the ground and smear the floor. If anyone came other and tried to do her for littering Maddie swore that she'd chop their head or balls off, whichever seemed to work better, and throw them away over the hedges.

⠀⠀⠀⠀"Fuck my life," Maddie muttered, rolling her eyes and leaning back on the bench, not caring who heard her and if they were offended by her words or not.

⠀⠀⠀⠀"That could arringed," a voice interrupted her thinking, familiar but not too distinctive.

⠀⠀⠀⠀"Arringed? Whoever you are, I'm sure that the expression is arranged," Maddie said with a dry chuckle and a small tut, waiting to hear what they would say in reply to her statement.

⠀⠀⠀⠀"Fuck words," was the answer that came, and Maddie furrowed her brow in reply, confused of what it meant. "Actions speak much, much louder."

⠀⠀⠀⠀Maddie felt the hair wrap around her neck soon after that, and her breathing quickly became constricted. She flailed her arms, making a few points of useless contact, but the hair souvenir stayed firmly round her throat, hurting her windpipe.

⠀⠀⠀⠀"Help!" Maddie screamed, but the lack of air in her throat cause it to instead come out as a strangled cry, her body grower weaker and weaker by the second. The hair souvenir tightened, and Maddie saw black spots floating into the corner of her vision.

⠀⠀⠀⠀Her body thumped to the ground, her outstretched leg touching her discarded hot dog, the Rapunzel hair still wrapped around her neck. Maddie struggled to take another breath, but her body had given up by now. In the darkness, Maddie saw a bright light, appearing to her in the distance and she went to it. The third victim of the Disney murders had been taken.
