⠀⠀⠀⠀So for the second time that day, all of the Disney holidayers found themselves crowded inside one bedroom again, with Nathan scribbling in a notebook and maddie typing quickly on the laptop, the smattering of her flesh fingertips against keys causing people such as Anna and Nia to wince slightly, since biggest were scared of loud noises.
⠀⠀⠀⠀"But why an arrow? It doesn't fit in at all with the axe through Kendall's head," Chloe explained with a sigh, as she checked the news articles on the Internet and sat cross legged on the floor beside Nathan and Maddie. Brynn was beside herself with tears, although she had never been that close to Liam, but the thought that more people could die, including herself or Alexander, and the death of the latter would completely rock her world.
⠀⠀⠀⠀"I don't know Chlo, I just don't know," Alexander muttered from the side with a small sigh as he hugged Brynn close to his chest, kissing the top of her head repeatedly in an attempt to calm the shaking blonde down. It didn't work very well as sobs caused Brynn's small body to shudder, and the slightly subdued shudder would rattle through Alexander and make him feel ever so slightly nauseous.
⠀⠀⠀⠀Silence overcame the group as even Maddie stopped to tap on the keyboard of the laptop, and the quiet sound of Nathan scribbling on the paper slowly drew to a stop. Everyone looked around in silence, as if thinking that one of the people here had to the be the murderer, and that they were sitting in a room, locked, with a psychopathic murderer that could turn on them all in every second.
⠀⠀⠀⠀This thought, of course, made Brynn feel even better, but as she cried, she was still silent, because she didn't want to break the silence that seemed to golden right there. Eyes were still flickering around, but Alexander's stayed on Brynn, as he worried for her mental state, since she was still shaking and Alexander could see the tears pouring down her cheeks.
⠀⠀⠀⠀"Who's next," Rhianna Quinn, a small and slim blonde asked quietly. She was the second youngest there, after Nathan, but had only been invited since her elder sister had been invited. Everyone had decided to be kind, and that was the reason that Rhianna was there. The blonde ran a hand through her hair and bit on her lip as another awkward silence took over the group. All of them had heard that the police would be coming again, but this time to interview everyone separately, but it had been a few hours since they'd heard that, so nobody wanted to leave just in case that would have them marked down as a suspicious person, perhaps with something to hide.
⠀⠀⠀⠀"Guys I-" Anna begun, but her voice was drowned out as everyone else begun to speak to each other. She didn't try again, even though her hands were trembling with the break through she'd just made. Anna had found a small similarly between Kendall and Liam's death, and she thought that it would be better to share her fact with everyone, just so that it could get them closer to who had completed the dastardly deeds, and nobody else would loose their lives in the process.
⠀⠀⠀⠀Maddie gave a small sigh over the noise, and threw her hands over her ears, storming out to the balcony where she sat in silence, everyone else observing her through the glass. Brynn, Chloe and Lexee all shared a look as they wondered what had inspired the brunette to get up and leave.
⠀⠀⠀⠀Lexee gave a small sigh, since she always had been a go getter, and went scurrying out onto the balcony after Maddie, the other murderer catchers, as the rest of the holidayers had dubbed them, not far behind her. The brunette was sitting in the desk chair in silence, her eyes wandering slightly to the ashtray that the cleaner had placed out, suspecting that this could be a smoking family that had decided to reside in the room.
⠀⠀⠀⠀"Maddie, are you okay?" Nathan asked wuietly, watching the brunette stare out towards the landscape with the blankest expression on her face ever. She didn't answer, but Chloe noticed the gleam of tears in her eyes, and the small droplets that steadily begun to drip down her cheeks and collect on Maddie's lap.
⠀⠀⠀⠀"She's not Nathan, nobody is okay," Chloe snapped, which was something that was very out of character and silence overruled them again. Nathan eyes stayed on Chloe, as her cheeks burned red and her eyes begun to grow very tearful, very quickly.
⠀⠀⠀⠀"Sorry," he whispered, which Chloe then replied to with a weak smile, both of them, holding eye contact for a few seconds and smiling weakly towards each other. Lexee, who stood at the side, moved over towards the balcony railings, looking out over the top at the carefree people who were lounging in the pool way below them. All of them looked as if they didn't have a care in the world, as they laughed and joked in the clear blue water, whereas everyone up in is hotel room was dealing with the earthshaking consequences of a murder.
⠀⠀⠀⠀"I wish we could all go home," Brynn said as she buried her head into Alexander's shoulders, who was sitting cross legged on the ground. The policeman who had told them that someone would be coming up to interview them had told everyone that they had to stay in the area, since anyone going home would be considered a suspicious person, and put at the top of the suspects list.
