⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀"She's dead," Chloe whispered, still mostly in a state of shock as she looks at the dead body on the floor. Her eyes were wide as her hands shook and trembled, watching everyone else react to the corpse that lay before them.⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Oh sugarballs," Brynn muttered, backing away towards the door as her hand closed around the handle, twisting it and opening it so that could all see into the hallway. She was deeply resisting the urge to run out of there screaming but she knew it would brand her a wuss if she did so. Calmly, taking deep breaths, Brynn closed the door and took a few steps back over to Alexander, who was hovering about a metre away from Eva's body. Alexander smiled weakly at her, the smile wobbling as it opened, and wrapped an arm around his girlfriend's shoulders, letting her sob slightly into his jacket. It was blatant that he wasn't in a positive state, for gods sake who would, but was trying to be strong for the benefit of his girlfriend. Chloe caught his eye for a second, and saw the strong foundations of the boy himself crumbling, reflecting in his bright irises.⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀Nathan was sitting cross legged on the bed, still somewhat unmoved by the dead body that lay before him, although slightly paler than his paper white skin had been before, almost translucent. His eyes lay on the body, looking at her arm, where she'd originally complained of pain and hurt. Concentration was written on his furrowed brow and the wrinkles that were apparent on his large forehead. It seemed he had an idea for what had caused the girl's death.
⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀"A poisonous frog. I'm not exactly sure what species but it's definitely a frog. Could her favourite film been the princess and the frog by any chance?" he spoke boldly, before slowly turning his gaze to everyone around him as he awaited a reply.
⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀Brynn replied with a small nod, remembering how Eva had dragged her to the see the film about 4 times when it had come out and then several when she'd bought Eva the DVD for Christmas that year. She'd been reluctant to go, but now that the girl as dead she was glad that she'd made memories with her previous to her death. She couldn't help thinking, however, that someone beginning with A was next and that placed Alexander in the way of danger and he was the person in the world she'd regret to loose the most. Brynn loved him, with all of her heart. Although she would do anything for him, Brynn knew that she couldn't do much against some sort of conniving murderer.
⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Well this is great ain't it," Lexee muttered, watching as Nathan pulled a notebook out from his back pocket, then a pen from the other pocket, and begun to write down everyone who had died so far and how they'd passed away. She then drew a dash next to each line of information and wrote what film their death corresponded against.
⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀"The killer is clever, I'll give you that," Nathan said as he looked at everything on the page with a small smile on his face. Brynn and Chloe both felt a shudder run down their spines as they watched him smile, that sinister little grin decorating his face.
⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Nobody here is clever," Lexee said with a small chuckle and a gentle role of her eyes. Both her and Nathan caught each others eyes and let out a small laugh, as if sharing a joke. Chloe, Brynn and Alexander all looked at each other and Chloe slowly walked round to stand next to Brynn, holding her blonde friend's hand tightly.
⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀"Whats wrong?" Nathan asked, pulling his eyes away from his notebook to look at his three friends who stood on the other side of the body, looking at him with fear in their eyes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀Nobody answered but Lexee opened her mouth to speak, and by the lightbulb that flashed in her eyes did both Lexee and Nathan suspect that was she was away to say was important, at least to the girl, but before they could the door was thrown open and a panting Kaylee Quinn came running in, clutching her sides with her sweaty hands as tears fell down her cheeks in rapid streams.
⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀"It's Addy, she's dead."
⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀hello, it's been a while. I'm sorry I've not been updating for a while but my life has been busy with dance exams and school show rehearsals and all that but I'm hopefully back into the swing of things and I know where I'm going with this story.
