⠀⠀⠀⠀They clutched each other tightly, as the tears rolled down their cheeks and the large police car rolled along the road towards them with its blue sirens flashing on the top of the vehicle. Just a handful of metres away lay the bodies of Nathan and Lexee, both still oozing crimson blood from their shot wounds.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀"Kids, are you okay?" one kindhearted police officer asked as she crouched down next to Chloe, Rhianna, Mackenzie and Brynn. Of course, having experienced such a traumatic event as they had, they didn't speak but instead they huddled closer together, arms closely tangled together.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀The woman shook her head slightly and beckoned a few of her colleagues to her side and they all looked at the four girls contently, before they turned around to look at the large water tank that was behind them, which they had noticed but it seemed that they hadn't noticed Alexander's dead body, lying in the bottom of the water.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀"There's a body in there, oh crap these kids have been through a lot in the past few hours," one of the other officers whispered as he placed a hand on Brynn's skinny shoulder, although she automatically shrugged away from his hand, her face blank and tears rolling down her cheeks. Her cerulean eyes were staring at Alexander's body in the tank and Chloe, who seemed to have come to her senses slightly, knew all she wanted to do was through herself into those depths next to him where they could lie forever in a blanket of water.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀"Please, take us home. That's all we want," Chloe whispered, her voice sounding raspy and weak. She could hardly believe that the voice she could hear was coming from her throat, it sounded nothing like the cheery tune she was so used to hearing. These murders had changed her in more ways that she'd realised.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀"I'm sorry, what's your names?"⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀"I'm Chloe, Chloe East. This is Brynn Rumfallo, Rhianna Quinn and Mackenzie Ziegler. I think there's others still alive but I don't know where they are." Her voice diminished in volume as she spoke her last sentence and her head dropped to face her lap.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀"Oh sweetheart," one of the officers who'd joined the crowd whispered, shaking her head softly. "We found a stack of bodies not to far from here, and I guessing that's made up of everyone else you believed was still alive."⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀"Alexander's dead," Brynn whispered as she pushed her hands against the ground and stood up, pushing away from the other three. Her knees buckled slightly and Chloe dashed to her side and caught her as she melted into tears, sobbing into Chloe's jumper. "He's gone Chloe. I loved him and he's gone."⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀Chloe sighed and she sat back down on the ground with a small thump, pulling the grieving Brynn with her. Both Rhianna and Mackenzie seemed to have comforted now and were explaining the story to a few officers, throwing their hands around in extravagance.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀They were all taken home, but all four were taken to a psychiatric hospital to be assessed and they decided that it would be better to keep the four in a room together for a week so they could get all sides of the story revealed. Mackenzie seemed to have turned into a little chatterbox and was more than eager to share her story to the adoring public, since all news channels had taken a fancy on getting a story from one of the four.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀And when the week was over, they all went home and were expected to go back to normal life. Mackenzie tried to, but she couldn't get over the death of Maddie, and Rhianna refused to speak after seeing so many bodies before her. Brynn cried for Alexander but she supposed, that some day in the future, she would recover from heartbreak.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀However, it seemed that Chloe was the worst affected by the Disney murders. Lexee had gained her trust at a young age, when Chloe had been vulnerable, and betrayed her with the law. She didn't know if she could trust again,but she guessed that some day in life she could.⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀And that was the Disney murders, a story of love, murder and betrayal, but you won't think that something innocent can be harmless again, will you.⠀⠀⠀⠀
