Ashton is in color guard. Wait no scratch that he eats, sleeps, and breaths guard. He works his ass off to make sure he hits every set and nails every toss. Luke is Ashton's best friend, an happens to be a cheerleader. Him and Ash bump heads at times, but ultimately love each other. In a platonic way, of course. After a dispute tuned food fight with the cheerleaders, his guard Captain, Mali- koa invites both the cheerleader and the guard over to her house for a bonding party. Only problem is her brother Calum, who won't turn his music down and invited his friend Michael over just to annoy his sister. He doesn't understand why anyone would want to prance around on a football field, in skimpy clothing for any reason, let alone on Friday when they should be studying for an exam the next Monday. So him and Michael stay in his room blaring music and studying for their English test. While Mali-koa tires to deal with two groups of people who can't stand each other besides Luke and Ashton, of course, who are sitting on the couch together watching the two groups bicker about the importance of the other.
