The picture above is Kyle...

I'm so confused. How can I have two soulmates? Is one just a distraction while the other is the real deal? How do I know? How do I choose?
I toss and turn all night, trying to make sense of this huge mess. None of it makes sense, and I never asked for any of this in the first place. All I wanted was to escape everything I knew, and to get away from my soulmate. But now that I know who my soulmate is, I don't know if I wanna run away from him. It would be a simple choice if Kyle hadn't been thrown into the mix of things.
I think of Cayden and how much I miss him. If anything, he was my first real soulmate, so I decide that I should stick with him. Kyle is probably just a distraction for me, and besides, lots of people say come with me and many have the initials A.K.
I'm just overreacting.
By morning I've finally calmed myself down and make my way to breakfast with Kyle. The hotel's food is surprisingly delicious. Well, either that or I'm starving.
After a silent breakfast, we get into the car, the sun now starting to peak over the mountains, and begin our journey again. We're probably very close to Cayden by now.
"Why don't you ever talk?" I ask Kyle, trying to make conversation.
"Maybe it's because I'm not a morning person."
"Maybe it's because you're a boring person."
"Excuse me?" he says.
I laugh. "You're too serious, and you're definitely not fun. I think the only moment that was actually enjoyable was when your shower broke last night."
He smirks at me. "You just liked that my shirt was off."
"Wouldn't have made a difference. Besides, I've seen better," I tease.
"I'll keep that in mind."
By nightfall we reach a run down diner. The lights are on, so it's got to be functioning, but it looks as though no one has stopped here for years. It looks like a place Cayden would go.
"Turn in here," I say to Kyle. He nods and slowly pulls into the parking lot. We get out and enter through the front door, walking up to the front counter.
Kyle pulls out his cell phone and scrolls to a picture of Cayden. "Have you see this man?"
The waitress looks up at Kyle, clearly bored and unbothered by his sophisticated appearance in such a trashy place. She nods and points to the back of the diner which I assume is where he was earlier today. But before I can walk, Kyle grabs my arm.
"Alaska, wait."
I look towards the back of the diner, and that's when I see Cayden. Only he's not alone.
There's a girl with him.
"Cayden!" I immediately blurt out.
The girl instantly makes eye contact with me. She has raven, black hair that forms a bob at her chin, and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen; however, they're covered up with dark eye makeup. Not gonna lie, she looks pretty bad ass.
Cayden whips his head around and meets my eyes. A mix of fear and relief floods his eyes as he gets up and slowly walks towards me. I freeze.
"Alaska..." He says in disbelief.
For some reason, I block out everything else and focus on him, letting nothing but his blue eyes draw me in. I run to him and embrace him, his arms wrapping around my tiny waist and mine around his neck.
