Skye and Chittaphon had been walking around the quiet school for fifteen minutes now. Casual chat, nothing too special or personal. They made their way through the dim hallways, Skye telling Chittaphon what rooms were which subject and where everything was. They turned the corner to a corridor with many doors on each side, to which Chittaphon took interest in.

"These are practice rooms. The cheerleading team and dancers come into these rooms to practice for their competitions," Skye told Chittaphon, and his face lit up. He walked over to one of the doors.

"Anyone can use them?" Chittaphon asked, peering inside the room through the small glass window and finding it empty.

"Yeah, I guess. I never really see anyone use them - besides the cheerleaders and dancers," Skye answered, watching him as he looked through the glass and a smile appeared on his face.

"Awesome. What time can people come in here until?" Chittaphon asked, turning around and looking at Skye.

"I think they close the rooms at six thirty; three hours after school," Skye told him. He nodded, looking back into one of the rooms again before joining Skye back in the middle of the barren corridor. "So, do you dance?" Skye asked him, well aware of the way his face lit up at the mention of dancing.

"Yeah - how could you tell?" He asked, chuckling slightly.

"If you hadn't acted like a child seeing their first Christmas, I wouldn't of known," Skye said, smiling at him as his cheeks turned a pink colour. "How long have you been dancing for?" Skye asked.

Skye wasn't exactly sure what had gotten into her. It was rare for her to even make eye contact with a friend, let alone joke around and laugh with someone she'd known for less than an hour.

"Well. . . I don't know when I started exactly, but I think I became serious about it when I was about five?" He told Skye as he opened the door and held it open - to which Skye nodded in a silent thank.

"That's a long time to be dancing for. You must be pretty good then," Skye said, looking at the  usually-green trees, which had now turned brown.

"I mean, I wouldn't say I'm amazing. But yes, I'm at least decent," Chittaphon said, a grin on his face as he followed Skye's eyes to the tree she was staring at. Skye looked back to him.

"Why do you dance?" Skye asked, realizing that was an awkward question. Chittaphon chuckled, wondering how he would answer the question.

"I guess I just find it. . . What's the word?" He paused, trying to find the word. Despite his slight foreign accent, Skye had completely forgotten he wasn't a native English speaker. "You know, when you want to do something because it's interesting," Chittaphon tried to explain further.

"Intriguing?" Skye guessed, her voice raised slightly.

"Yes! That one!" Chittaphon grinned, his eyes lighting up. "Sorry. I still haven't learned the whole English language," He apoligized. Skye laughed silently.

"It's okay. Your English is quite amazing though, I didn't think exchange students were so fluent," Skye stated as they walked up a large set of stone steps leading to the main hall.

"Our English lessons are pretty intense. Plus, I also wanted to learn it as a personal thing. I wanted to come to England," Chittaphon explained as they'd reached the top of the stairs, not out of breath at all, despite Skye being slightly deprived of air. He dances, he's used to it, she thought to herself.

"I think it's cool you're able to speak two languages fluently," Skye said, lightly blushing at the slight-compliment. Chittaphon noticed her rose coloured cheeks and made a small smile, looking down.

"Thank-"

"TEN!" He was cut off by a loud shout of his name. Chittaphon looked up and smiled widely.

"I was wondering where you were!" Chittaphon greeted, hugging the taller male. Skye stood awkwardly, along with the other student who was with the guy. "Skye, this is Jaehyun." Chittaphon introduced, looking back at Skye. Skye smiled at Jaehyun, nodding her head once. Jaehyun smiled back, a dimple appearing in the center of his cheek. Cute, Skye thought. "Jaehyun came with me from Thailand. He's the only other exchange student," Chittaphon explained to Skye, who noticed that Jaehyun was still staring at her.

"Nice to meet you," She said quietly to him, which made him flinch slightly as he realized he'd been staring. He smiled at Skye, holding his hand out. They awkwardly shook hands (they both took note of the way Jaehyun's hand engulfed Skye's) then returned back to their original positions.

"So, you're also on a tour of the school?" Jaehyun asked Chittaphon. Skye took note of the difference in their voices. Jaehyun had a deeper, huskier voice.

"Correct. Skye offered to give me a tour," Chittaphon told Jaehyun, a cheeky smile on his face because of his twisted words.

"That's not true - our teacher asked me to take him, it wasn't voluntarily." Skye butted in, giving Chittaphon a side eye. Chittaphon chuckled to himself.

"Chittaphon, you're an awful liar. Even I knew that wasn't true." Jaehyun shook his head, a sly smile on his face. Skye was surprised at how well his pronunciation was, and his general way of speaking.

"Your English is really good," Skye told Jaehyun, having to tilt her head to look at him. Skye didn't notice Chittaphon's slight jealousy.

"I lived in America for four years a while ago," Jaehyun replied, leaning in slightly closer. "My English is better than Chittaphon's," Jaehyun whispered, but loud enough for Chittaphon to hear.

"No! We're the same level - and if not I'm better!" Chittaphon defended himself. Jaehyun laughed loudly. Skye and the other student who was touring the school with Jaehyun stayed silent, taking a few steps back.

"You really think so?" Jaehyun questioned, edging closer to Chittaphon. Chittaphon went onto his toes to make himself taller, getting closer to Jaehyun. Suddenly they both burst out laughing. Chittaphon punched Jaehyun playfully.

"I think we can agree I won this," Jaehyun said with his eyes squinted.

"I think we can agree to disagree." Chittaphon countered. Jaehyun laughed, shaking his head.

"I'm leaving before I hit you thirty-seven times," Jaehyun told him, patting his shoulder as he walked passed him. Jaehyun stopped, turning around to face the three students. The other pupil went to his side. "I'll see you around Skye." Jaehyun smiled, then nodded to Chittaphon as he walked off in the direction Skye and Chittaphon had come from.

"That was intense," Skye commented, continuing to walk.

"Jaehyun and I. . . Have known each other for a while. We're very close," Chittaphon told her, smiling to himself. "Anyway, where were we before we were rudely interrupted by Jaehyun?" Chittaphon asked rhetorically. "Ah yes, you were complimenting me on my bilingual skills," Chittaphon said with a wide smile, turning to look at Skye. Skye's cheeks flushed.

"Shut up," Skye mumbled quietly, looking away and blushing. Chittaphon gave a satisfied smile.
