Ok ik it's a pan book but come on everyone has had a crush on Felix.

The Lost Boys dance around the fire at nighttime, memorizing you as you join them. Pan harmonizes the group with his panflute, moving with the music as well, but not dancing with the other boys. The bonfire in the center glows beautifully with red and orange. You watch the Lost Boys hold their sticks in the air as you giggle when a Lost Boy by the name of Rufio grabs your tiny waist and lifts you up into the air while dancing. He sets you down gently and you continue to move around the circle.
A large shadow emerges from the bushes, revealing a tall man with bright blue eyes that contrast the red atmosphere. As you take a closer look, you observe that one of his hands is missing, replaced with a sharp hook. Captain Hook. More figures walk out of the edge of camp, each holding a weapon. The Lost Boys stumble for their bows and arrows as Felix hurriedly runs in front of you, wrapping his arm around your back, as he guides you towards the back of camp, safe from the invasion. You catch glimpses of the Lost Boys launching their dreamshade-tipped arrows at the intruders, as they dodge each one, or bat them away with their swords, Peter fumbling with his magic. You know Peter can't use the little magic he had, for he is slowly dying, and every bit of magic he uses weakens him, and brings him closer to his deathbed. Felix shouts as you turn towards the sight, gripping his wrinkled cloak, only to see the one-handed man with his blade impaled into a familiar face.

Rufio.

A blood-curdling scream spreads throughout the camp from the weak boy, dropping to the ground as red spills around him, staining the dirt ground. A tear rushes down Felix's face, as his friend's eyes go glossy, Captain Hook retreating, along with his gang.
Felix drops to his knees, the tears flowing from his eyes, Peter staring down at the lifeless body, clearly upset at the sight. You sit down next to Felix, and grab Rufio's hand, squeezing lightly, a small tear blurring your vision. You close your eyes and it runs down to your chin.
Peter pulls you aside out of camp, behind the trees. "You." He starts, "You could have saved him! You were there! You should have been there to protect him!" he shouts at you, using his hands to pin you to a tree. "Peter, I wouldn't have been able to do anything!" you respond. "It's your fault he's dead! You didn't even try!" his hot breath hits your face as he yells, and he slams you into the hard bark, pain rushing through your body. He rests himself on another tree, as you run away—you don't know where you're going, but you just sprint anywhere, sobbing as your legs start to ache.
You reach far enough away from the camp, and curl into a ball, resting your head onto your knees, hot tears bursting out of your eyes. It's your fault. It's your fault. The words run through your head rapidly. You could have saved him. All your thoughts force the sobs out faster. You didn't even try. A voice interrupts your thoughts, "(Y/N)?" Felix! "Are you okay?" the boy with the scar along his face sits down next to you, wrapping his arms around your waist, holding you close. "Yeah, I'm fine." You respond to him, wiping your face with your sleeve, comforted by Felix's kindness. "I saw what Pan did. I'm sorry." He takes his other arm and hugs you tight, your head resting against his chest, his warmth flowing through your body. "It's okay." You tell him, "It's not your fault. Anything could have happened." He says as he releases his hold on you, kissing your forehead lightly. You grab his hand, "Thank you Felix." You lean onto his shoulder and the two of you talk until sunrise.
