Hold The Key

What becomes of a small child,

Who sings a melody,

Of a world so wild.

Seeing rain fall

as they answer the call,

Do they hold the key,

To pure sanity?

Can they smile a smile,

When waiting a while?

The time the seek

Is for the meek.

Calling Cowards.

For countless hours.

Screaming out,

A soundless shout.

Searching for life.

With the weapon of a simple knife.

Is it in vanity?

Or have they lost their sanity?
