Wishing on a shooting star,
knowing I won't get very far.
How can I see the sky,
if with every move I die?
Turning my shoulder,
makes me feel colder.
So don't try to force me the other way,
When you know nothing is okay.
I'm afriad to look down,
fearing I might drown.
In this world were everything dies,
Nobody punishes you for your lies.
Pen and paper are my only friends,
my enemies won't make amends.
Fear of flight,
of the deadly night.
I see my soul,
Burried in a hole.
I try to pull it back again,
But then everything goes crumbling in.
The trap is set,
An evil net.
I can't contain my sorrow,
there can't be a tommorow.
Lies seem better than the truth,
In my unsustained youth.
Pull me to the ground.
I'm lightheaded all around.
Scaring my eyes,
with the images of your lies.
The day has come,
The sour plum
Is being eaten,
Mankind has been beaten.
Save yourself,
Not your wealth.
Money does nothing in this world of pain.
Life is the only thing to gain.

Hope you like it! Not sure where it came from, but I haven't written a poem in a while, so I thought I should! :)
