(This chapter is going to be a little less well as the future ones and that reason being, it's the first chapter. I'd like to think of it as an introduction chapter. The other ones will also be written more maturely, well hopefully. Lol. Thanks for reading! Twitter: @TFFAlive. Thanks, guys!)
"Can you hurry up?" Cynthia nagged me as I ran around our apartment grabbing the last few things I think I'd need for this weekend at the beach.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" I yelled as I ran down the hallway.
"You sounded like Michelle from Full House." She laughed at me.
"That's what I was going for, my friend." I pointed at her as if she had gotten an answer right.
"Niall got our room for us." She told me as she locked the door and we headed for the car.
"Which you probably won't even be in." I elbowed her lightly.
"Well, ya know." She smirked and then we laughed.
Her and Niall have been dating for almost a year now and I couldn't be happier for them. I've know Cynthia since we were seven and we've been friends ever since. I'd say she's one of my best friends. Well she is, we live together. As for Niall, I've known him since I was twelve. He was that annoying kid who would irritate you if he liked you. He would throw pebbles at you or pull your hair, maybe step on the back of your shoes on purpose. Knock your books out of your locker and step on your papers. Luckily, he only liked me for two weeks in middle school. He grew out of that phase when he realized girls won't give you the goods if you're rude to them. At least, not the majority of girls. His words not mine.
"Jethro said he's been there for an hour and Niall already broke out beer." I told Cynthia and laughed.
Jethro is our other good friend. He's like a brother to me; we've grown up together. He was my childhood neighbor.
"Of course he did." She laughed, "Just two more hours until we're there."
"Don't they realize we have a beach twenty minutes away from all of our houses?" I'm not complaining, I love road trips, especially with friends. It's just when you live in California, you have beaches everywhere.
"Whatever, it'll be fun. Plus Rachel couldn't come out because she has her moms wedding tomorrow."
"Oh, right. Should we crash it?" We both start laughing a bit.
They're very pristine people.
"Not only would Rachel's mom kill us, but she would." Cynthia's right. "She needs to lighten up. That whole family does."
"Lets just throw lamps at them." I have a serious tone.
"You're so fucking lame."
I put on the radio and tried to find a decent song. Once I found one, I turned it up and watched out of the windshield.

"And we're here." Cynthia smiled as she put the car in 'park' and turned the ignition off in the parking lot of our hotel.
"And to think we only got lost three times." I smile and we high five.
We're not very good with directions. Even with a GPS.
"What took you girls so long?" I hear a familiar voice as I open the trunk.
"Jethy!" I smile and he opens his arms so I could run and jump into them. It's a routine.
"Hey, squirt." He kissed the side of my head mid-spin and then put me down.
"Hello, Jethro." Cynthia smiled and they exchanged hugs.
