I can't believe it's our last day here, this summer has been one of the best and worst,
it's been full of laughter, tears and Adventure.
I wouldn't of had it any other way.
I'm so grateful that I have all of them in my life, they've impacted it so much.
Surprisingly even Scott, he's helped me to become who I am today. our break up, broke me. Seeing him, I felt like my heart was breaking more and more every single second of everyday. But now, it's not like that. Everyday I got stronger and realised, it's not like that forever. I'm no longer the sad little girl, I was. Scott made me grow into the strong women, I've now become and I've got him to thank for that.
I'm not ready to leave, than its back to reality, back to school, back to Damon..
it's good to just get away for awhile, not having to worry about them things, the holidays just flew by..
I guess I should get up, see what's happening in the real world.
I get up off my bed, as I head downstairs, sitting on the lounge, around everyone else.
"guys, we should just relax today. Barbecue, swimming, just hangout, as its our last day?" Stiles suggests
I nod in reply, "could I invite stefan?" I ask, turning my head to everyone
"ooo, I still haven't met this boyfriend of yours" malia says nudging me
I laugh in reply, "well you'll all be able to meet him today, I'll go give him a call" I say, as I get up, walking outside.
[me- "hey you, what are you up to today?"
[stefan- "hey beautiful, just hanging out with my lovely girlfriend, what are you doing today?" as he chuckles afterwards
[me- "ooo, I was just going to invite my lovely boyfriend over for a barbecue and for a swim"
[stefan- "oh I'm sure he would love that"
[me- "oh would he now?"
[stefan- "he wouldn't miss it for the world"
[me- well I guess I'll see my lovely boyfriend as soon as he can get here than?"
[stefan- "you'll see him in 20 minutes ish, sound good?"
[me- "sounds great, I'll see him than."
I say, as I laugh, ending the phone call.
I put my phone in my pocket, as I head back inside.
"Is he coming?" Caroline asks, grinning
"he can't make it" I mumble
"what a bummer.. Even though you're leaving tomorrow?" Scott says
"I'm jokinggg, he's coming. He'll be here in like 20 minutes" I say, laughing at them
"I'm gonna go upstairs, get into my boardshorts, Elena could I have a word upstairs?" Scott asks, as he starts walking up
"Sure" I say, as I walk up behind him, into his room.
I walk over sitting by him on his bed, "everything okay?" I ask, looking confused
"yeah, everything's okay, I just wanted to talk, just listen, yeah?" He says
"Okay?" I mutter
"I just wanted to say first of all, I am sincerely sorry for everything that's gone in, in these past weeks."
I cut him off "don't be. it's over and done with now." I say
"I know I know, That's not it. I just wanted to say, I'm happy for you." He says, slightly smiling
"happy for me? Why?" I ask
"You seem happy with this new boyfriend of yours" he says
"His name is Stefan." I utter
"I know. well, Stefan. seems to make you happy, I'm glad. That's all I've wanted for you." He says in reply
"Than why did you, I mean. thanks." I say
"you deserve the world, I'm sorry I couldn't give that to you." He mentions
I look over at him, "Scott, you made me the happiest girl, you taught me what love is. before you, i was generally always sad, you changed that. but, it was bound to end, wasn't a matter of if, it was when."
"Elena it's not like that" he says, but I cut him off again,
"I should go back downstairs, Stefan should be here any minute now." I say, as I start to walk over to the bedroom door, "but thankyou. I'm glad we had this conversation." I say, as I walk back downstairs.
*knock knock*
"I'll get it!" Isaac yells
I shake my head, "oh no no, ill get it" I say running down, but Isaac was already opening the door, to see Stefan standing in the door, holding a bunch of flowers.
"you must be Stefan" he says, putting out his hand
"Isaac? Right?" Stefan says, shaking his Hand
"It's a pleasure to meet you" stefan says
"Likewise" Isaac says, "come on in" Isaac says, opening the door fully
He smiles in reply, as he walks in
"Stefan!" I yell, as I run over to him, jumping up, wrapping my legs around him
"Oh hey stranger" he says, smiling, as he kisses my lips, "these are for you" he says, Handing me the flowers
"You bought me flowers" I say, smiling, taking them
"I hope you like them" he says, grabbing ahold of my hand
"I love them!" I say, as I kiss him.
"Get a room you too" malia says, as she hits me with her shirt
"You gonna introduce us all?" Stiles asks
I laugh, "I'm getting there" I say, nudging stiles
"Malia, this is Stefan. Stefan, this is my cousin Malia." I say, introducing them
"It's so nice, to finally meet you Stefan, I've heard so much about you" Malia says grinning
"Oh shut it, you" I say, beginning to laugh
I walk over to Scott, I feel so nervous introducing them.
"oh um, Scott this is Stefan. Stefan this is Scott" I say
"Ohh, so this is the ex boyfriend?" Stefan says
"that would be me" he says
"Stefan can I just ask you something?" Scott says
"Maybe we should just go down to the lake now" I say, grabbing Stefans arm
"Go for it mate" he says, turning to Scott
"What do you want from her?" He asks
"From who?" Stefan says
"the girl, who I was supposed to marry one day" he says, looking over too me.
