A Whole New World

Amara's POV

Before sneaking a look at the pack building I had been caged in, I turned to the forest sprinting before falling on my face nearly 2 seconds later.

"Omph!" I moaned into the ground using my weak arms to try to push myself up. Tasting Earth grass for the first time, I decided I definitely won't be eating it any time soon.

Damn, I seriously need to work out more.

You are a fucking princess. You probably have never worked out in your life. Oh, wait! Yep, I was right. I checked your conscience.

"Absolutely perfect." I grumbled, the sarcasm dripping from my words."I am on Earth, have a mate who just after two days I can't stand, and have a wolf inside my head who can't mind her damn business! My life is just all Pomegranates!"

I instantly felt the disturbing crunch of bones breaking and reshaping for the second time this moon cycle.

After a flash second of this agony, I seen snow white paws below me and an alarming protruding snout.

I sighed again in dismay before trotting off into the forest, feeling much better in wolf form running instead of on my regular ol' feet.

Really? We get to use or wolf, and we don't even get to use or wolf advantages?! Get a move on, Princess Red. Plus; let's sniff out the book.

I stopped in my tracks.

Should I sniff out the God or goddess that (according to my tingling body) was near, or sniff out the notebook that could help me understand how to get on with living here (temporarily of course)?

Let me decide since I am the smarter conscience of this Princess Project. We should..go find the god/goddess!

I lifted my head searching the air for any recognizable smell that might be the notebook.

Three hit me.

I recognized two of them at once. The first was a faint trace of Cole running all through the forest and the air. His scent gave me pleasing shivers although he smelled a bit out of whack.

The other was definitely a god/goddess. They smelled like a liquified gold and flowers mixed together. But I knew the liquified gold was the god, but the flowers was something new.

Ohh, Hades. It's half human, half god!

Do you think it is a spy?! Or our ex-lover?! Or a gifted fairy here to solve all our problems?!

Calm your chariots, Priss. Maybe they are here by mistake.

I lifted my chin in victory before focusing on the third smell. A very very ancient smelling aroma mixed with pomegranates and river water, the smell I could only assume was magic.

I stared into the forest sniffing again before taking off down the windy path recognizing a few things along the way.

With every step I took, I felt like I was somehow becoming more free. More adventurous. More me.

The soft grass folded under my paws, and more than once Prissy had to interrupt my smelling and observing of the beautiful, but strange Earth plants.

Hey, I couldn't help it. This was like a whole new world for me.

The forest was filled with greens and vibrants, not to mention insects and animals I had never seen before.

I have out an excited bark dashing over to a little creature I had caught with my wolf vision.

The little things was small and red.

Ooh! What is this?!

Princess focus! We need to get going. It is only a ladybug. Seriously.

Aww. Fine..

I touched the ladybug with my nose, silently promising I would examine it later.

A few boring seconds later (Priss grounded me from checking out anything else) I came to the small clearing in the forest where I knew I had simple appeared in.

Hey babe, we met here. Now you can't live without me! Literally...

Yeah, the best moment in life.

That was sarcasm!

I rolled my eyes sniffing out the notebook that was definitely close.

Amara! Over there!

The moment I had seen the notebook, I had also seen a huge black wolf stalking towards me.

He let out a deep growl before he started running towards me.

I hate myself! Two weeks to update...sad.
