5- Follow Her

Steve didn't bother to suit up. He didn't see the point of suiting up if all that was going to happen was Fury demanding answers on why he "fainted."

And sure enough as soon as Steve entered the room, Fury was demanding answers.

"Cap what the hell happened out there?!" Fury demanded. "Why did you faint?!"

"I didn't faint," Steve muttered.

"Oh really?! Then what was that that happened out there?!"

Steve didn't know what to say. He didn't know how to explain what had happened to him.

"Jeez, chill Fury," Phil said. "Cap probably ate something that wasn't good for him."

"Oh really?" Fury said. "Then tell me Coulson, if that's what happened then why was he asleep for five days and while he was asleep why did he kept murmuring things about some girl?! Huh! How can you explain that Coulson?!"

"Maybe there was something in the food," Phil suggested. "Come on, I'm sure Cap probably ate something that wasn't good for him."

Furt huffed. "Whatever. So Cap, what were you dreaming of when you were asleep?"

"What are you talking about Fury?" Steve asked keeping a firm voice. He couldn't let Fury know about his dreams.

"Jarvis did a little exam on you and he said that you were having some unexplained dreams. What is that all about?"

"I don't know what you're talking about Nick," Steve said again.

Fury sighed in frustration. "You may leave now, Cap."

Steve stood up to leave and Phil followed him.

"Um, Steve. I don't want to be nosy but what were you dreaming of while you were asleep?" Phil asked. "O- of course you don't have to tell me if you don't want to."

Steve wondered if he should tell Phil about his dreams. The only person he had told was Bucky. Nat would find out sooner or later. She always figured out everything. But should he tell Phil? Steve decided to tell him. After all he could trust Phil.

"Alright I'll tell you," Steve said. He pulled Phil into an empty room in Stark Tower.

"So what happened?" Phil questioned.

"So these dreams that I had. They weren't dreams they were more like... flashes. And in the flashes there was this girl..." Steve started to explain to Phil about things that had happened to him. Steve told Phil literally EVERYTHING. He told Phil about him having weird dreams, about him "fainting," and about all of the flashes that that Steve had had during those five days he had been asleep.

"You don't know this girl?" Phil asked after Steve was finished talking.

"No," Steve answered. "I mean she seems familiar somehow but- I don't know. I just can't put my finger on it."

Phil nodded. He was about to say something but JARVIS interrupted him.

"I'm sorry to interrupt you two, but Phil, Director Fury needs to talk to you," JARVIS said.

"Okay, thank you JARVIS," Phil said.

"You're welcome, sir," JARVIS replied.

"I'm sorry Steve but I have to go," Phil said standing up. "But maybe we can talk about this later?"

"Sure. Thanks for listening Phil," Steve smiled.

"Any time, Rogers." Phil smiled back and left.

Steve sighed. Now what was he suppose to do? There was nothing to do in Stark Tower. Hmm maybe he could go on a walk with Bucky. He hadn't seen his friend in a long time. Yeah that's what he was going to do.

Steve finally found Bucky. He was watching SpongeBob Squarepants alone in the livingroom.

"Hey Buck," Steve said.

"Sup, punk," Bucky replied.

"You want to go on a walk or something?" Steve asked.

"Sure," Bucky replied turning off the T.V. "You need a distraction don't you?"

Steve nodded.

"Well, let's go."

Bucky and Steve walked out of Stark Tower and walked to a nearby park. The two of them talked about many things. Steve told Bucky about what he had done while being in Stark Tower and Bucky told Steve about his time living with Clint's family.

"Oh and Lila misses you," Bucky said.

"Does she?" Steve grinned.

"Yeah. She said she misses those piggy back rides you use to give her."

"I should go visit her. How's little Nate?"

"He's fine. Crawls already. Oh and Cooper wants you to go visit them so that you two can have a race."

"A race?"

"Yeah. I bet him 20 dollars that you would win."

Steve laughed. "You bet 20 dollars that I would win him in running?"

Bucky nodded. "Duh. You're Steve Rogers aka Captain America aka the man that can run 100 miles without getting tired." The two of them laughed.

"Actually the fastest man alive is Pietro not me," Steve corrected.

"Well you're in second place then," Bucky said.

The two of them laughed. All of the sudden Steve felt something in his chest and he stopped walking.

"Steve?" Bucky stopped walking and looked at his friend. "What's wrong?"

Steve held on to Bucky's metal arm. "She's here."

"Who?" Bucky asked confused.

Steve looked around. "There!" Steve pointed forward and Bucky looked to where he was pointing. There was a girl standing there.

"But? That's just a girl."

"Bucky come on! We have to follow her!" Steve said as he started running towards the girl. Bucky was confused but he followed Steve anyways.
