13- They Did WHAT?!

Steve hugged Lily for what seemed like..... FOREVER. He was glad that he had found his sister and he didn't want to let her go. They hugged for a few minutes until Steve let go of her and looked at her in the eyes.

"Lily," Steve said. "Why do you have that scar on your neck?"

Lily looked down and said in a whisper, "HYDRA experiments."

Steve lifted his sister's chin with his finger and said, "What did they do?"

Lily sighed. "They would inject some serums. I don't know what the serums werebut they'd inject them on me everyday and everynight without giving me a break and-- oh god." Memories started to flood back to Lily.

"Lily? Lily! Lily look at me!" Steve exclaimed. Lily had zoned out and terror filled her face.

Lily looked at Steve with fear in her eyes. "It was horrible Steve."

Steve hugged her. "It's okay. They aren't going to hurt you anymore. I'm here and I'm going to protect you now. Okay?"

Lily nodded.

"You don't have to tell me what they did to you over there," Steve said. "You can tell me whenever you're ready."

"I want to tell you now," Lily said. "I want to get it out."

Steve nodded. "Okay. I'm listening."

Lily took a deep breath to calm herself down and started explaining. "After you went in the water, Peggy came to our house and told me what happened. I was sad and cried for more than a week. Peggy took me to her home and she took care of me. For a little while anyways.

"One day Peggy had to travel to another state for some work. So I stayed at her house and just lived my regular life I guess. But one day I came back to Peggy's house after school and there was a man there, I didn't know him and I tried to get him out of the house but he wouldn't leave. He locked me in the room that Peggy let me stay in and I couldn't get out. So I took some of my stuff, climbed out through the window and went back to our house. I stayed there and luckily they didn't find me. That was until Aiden came."

"Aiden?" Steve asked. "Your boyfriend?"

"My ex- boyfriend actually," Lily said.

"What did he do?" Steve asked.

"He took me to them," Lily continued. "Apparently Aiden was the son of the leader who wanted to experiment on me."

"WHAT?!" Steve exclaimed in shock.

Lily nodded sadly. "The only reason he wanted to be my boyfriend was to get me to his father. Get my trust and have his father experiment on me. But anyways," Lily sighed and continued. "They took me to a room and kept me there for who knows how long. They wouldn't give me anything to eat or drink. I don't know how but I survived. Then the experiments started.

"They would do surgeries and they would inject me with needles and... they would do it none stop. They would never give me break. They would just continue experimenting on me. They wouldn't even give me a break to breath. And there would be times when I- I just felt like dying. I was so weak and helpless that... I didn't know what to do. And sometimes HYDRA wouldn't have anymore experiments. Or the experiments were just not ready and... they would keep me in that dark room and... they- they would send... they would send men to- to-" Lily couldn't finish her sentence. Thinking about her time at HYDRA made her sad and emotional.

"They would what?" Steve asked softly.

Tears were falling down Lily's cheeks as she remembered what had happened. "They would send men to... to r- r- rape me!" she said the last part quietly.

Steve's eyes widened in shock. "They did WHAT?!" He didn't know what to think. Losing his sister had made Steve feel depressed. But her telling him that she had been raped by HYDRA men, made Steve want to cry in anger. It made him want to go kill all of the people that hurt her.

Steve held his sister's small frame to his big one.

"A- and th- they w- w- would d- do that everyday until HYDRA finally created the serum. It was horrible Steve. I... I couldn't handle it. Sometimes I felt like dying because I couldn't handle everything that they would do to me." Lily started to cry and Steve held her tighter. But not too tight. "I don't know how long all of that took. It felt like years. But for some reason I never aged. I stayed sixteen. But I... I guess it was because one of the serums that they injected on me made me not age at all.

"One day my powers started to appear and I couldn't controll them. The HYDRA agents tried to control me and that just got me more mad. And I just started killing them. So they locked me up and while I was asleep they injected something in me that made me go to sleep. But that serum that they injected on me was made so that I could wake up when you did."

Steve looked at Lily confused.

"They somehow connected your brain to my brain. That's why I was able to wake up when you woke up," Lily explained.

"Then that's why I kept on getting those dreams and flashes," Steve thought out loud and Lily nodded. "Did they still experiment on you while you were asleep?"

Lily nodded. "But they only did it for a little while before they stopped. I don't what happened but they stopped experimented on me. When I woke up I was in a underground laboratory room. I don't know what I was doing there but I was just as confused as you probably were. And well... I escaped and just sorta went everywhere. I knew you were alive when I heard about the battle in New York. So I traveled to New York and looked for you."

"Why were you at the strip bar?" Steve asked after a moment of silence.

Lily bit her lip and looked down. "HYDRA found me again and they forced me to work there. They said that if I didn't follow their orders that... they... they would hurt you."

"They wouldn't dare hurt me," Steve said.

"I know but..." Lily sighed. "I... I couldn't let them hurt you."

Steve was about to say something but JARVIS spoke.

"Steve, Director Fury would like to see you and your sister in the lab right now," JARVIS said.

Steve sighed. "Thanks JARVIS. Tell him we'll be there in a minute."

"Yes, Steve," JARVIS said.

"Well, let's go see what Fury wants now," Steve said as he and Lily went out the door to the lab.

Yes I know you all might be thinking this....... "Oh well look it, Mariela doesn't update this book anymore. She probably gave up on this book."

No guys I didn't give up on this book. And I know I haven't updated in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time XD

There has been a lot going on in my life and stuff and yeah. But I updated. And hopefully I will update soon XD
