Captain America's Sister: Lily Rogers (DISCONTINUED)

15- Power Up

Steve drove Lily to an ice cream parlor that Natasha had taken him and Bucky to a few weeks ago. The place wasn't too fancy but it did get a lot of customers for it's amazing ice cream.

Steve got a double scoop cone of vanilla and strawberry ice cream and Lily got a double scoop cone of chocolate ice cream.

"Remember when you went on your first date and Aiden took you that ice cream place? Then Bucky went to your table," Steve said once the two of them had sat down at a table.

Lily rolled her eyes and smiled at the memory. "Yeah," she said. "He came and started acting buff and all."

Steve laughed all little. "He is tough though."

Lily nodded smiling. She frowned and looked at Steve. "Don't you mean... was tough since he's... you know... dead..."

Steve shook his head. "Lily, Bucky is still alive."

Lily stared at Steve. Her expression was mixture of shock and happiness. "B- but I thought he died when... when he fell off the train."

"He didn't die. He did fall off the train and all but HYDRA found him and they turned him into the Winter Soldier," Steve explained. "HYDRA brainwashed him and so he didn't remember anything from his past. But now he's back to normal... Well sort of."

"Where is he now?" Lily asked after listening to everything Steve told her about his encounter with the Winter Soldier.

"He's at Clint's house," Steve replied. "He's still recovering from HYDRA but he's better than before."

Lily nodded slightly as she ate her ice cream.

"We can go see him tomorrow or something," Steve suggested. "I'm sure Clint wouldn't mind us going for a little visit to see Bucky. His wife, Laura, is a very nice lady. Her and Clint have three children. Well... two... and Laura is pregnant with their third child. Their oldest child is a boy named Cooper. He's a cool guy. Then there's little Lila. She's so cute and adorable. And then Laura is pregnant with... I think Clint said they were going to call him Nathan or-"

"Hold on. Hold on," Lily said, interrupting Steve. "I thought hero's couldn't have a family since you know... they have to save the world all the time and all of that. How come Clint has a family?"

"Fury helped him keep his family a secret. Only Natasha and Fury knew about Clint's family. Then, Clint took us to his house when we needed refuge from fighting Ultron."

"Oh," Lily said. "That makes sense."

Steve nodded. "Yeah. Lila would be very happy to meet you. She's just like you when you were small," Steve said, smiling.

Lily smiled.

They finished eating and Steve drove them to a nice part that was near by. The two of them walked and talked. They walked to the playground and had a swing race.

"I'm swinging higher than you, Steve!" Lily exclaimed, laughing as her swing went higher than her brother's swing.

Steve laughed. "I don't think so!" His swing went a little higher than Lily's swing. After the park, Steve took Lily to Forever21 to buy some clothes for her.

"We should go back to the tower," Steve said after they finished shopping. "We can drop off your things and then we can come get some dinner."

"Okay," Lily agreed.

They drove back to the tower and dropped off their bags. Then, Steve took one of Tony's car and drove him and Lily to a restaurant he liked. He took his shield with him just incase.

"Do you always take your shield everywhere?" Lily asked her brother once their food had come.

Steve blushed a little. "Most of the time yeah."

Lily chuckled and they ate their food.

"Excuse me Miss," said a man that worked at the restaurant to Lily.

"Yes?" Lily looked at the worker with a questioning look.

"There is a young man that wishes to speak to you." The worker pointed to a black haired guy that looked no older than seventeen.

Lily frowned and looked at the guy that was near the door.

"Who is he?" Steve asked Lily.

"I don't know," Lily answered.

"Please Miss," the worker said. "He will not leave unless you go see him."

Lily sighed. "I'll be right back," she to Steve as she stood.

Steve nodded slightly and he watched her go.

Lily walked up to the guy and her jaw dropped when she saw who it was.
"Wh- what are you doing here?!" Lily exclaimed not that loud.

"What do you think?!" the guy snapped. "I came to take you back, Lily."

"In your dreams," Lily scoffed and she started to walk back to Steve.

"Lily... Please... Give me another chance," the guy said as he grabbed Lily's arm so that she wouldn't leave.

Lily sighed. "I'm sorry, Aiden but... I... I can't. You hurt me too much."

"I know but... Please," Aiden begged. "I'll be better. I promise."

"You told me that twice... Once when you cheated on me. And the second time when you turned me in, to be a HYDRA experiment," Lily said. "I am not making that mistake a third time."

Lily yanked her arm away from Aiden and walked back to her table with Steve. Aiden's eyes turned red.

"Who was he?" Steve asked.

Lily sighed. "You're not going to believe this but... it was Aiden."

Steve choked on his food. "What?! But... isn't he suppose to be dead?"

Lily shrugged. "I guess he was experimented on too. I mean, there is no way he could have survived and not aged. And his eyes glowed red... so he probably has powers."

"We'll ask Tony to do some research on him. He might find something about Aiden," Steve suggested.

Lily nodded. "Yeah. That's a good idea."

They finished eating and walked out of the restaurant. Just as they reached the car, Aiden came from behind them.

"Oh so there you are," Aiden said.

"Aiden, leave us alone," Steve said, calmly.

"Oh I see!" Aiden exclaimed, looking at Lily. "You're using your big brother as your guardian dog!" He laughed.

"Yeah, I'm being her 'guardian dog' so that jerks like you won't hurt her again!" Steve snarled, getting into his overprotective brother mode.

Aiden's evil grin vanished. "So what if I hurt her?! Huh?! I never loved her anyways!" His eyes flared red.

Lily looked at the floor. Something inside of her stirred. She didn't know what it was. It was as if all of her anger had build up inside of her and was ready to explode.

Lily looked up at Aiden, her baby blue eyes had turned dark blue. She glared at Aiden and thrusted her hand at him. She levitated him off the ground and made him crash into a car. Aiden groaned in pain and jumped off the car. He levitated two cars and magically threw them at Lily. Lily flicked her hand and the two cars crashed into Aiden.

Steve looked at the two of them in shock.

Lily walked over to Aiden and held him up with her magic. Aiden looked at her in fear. Lily smirked evilly and she slowly tightened her magic around Aiden's neck. Aiden started choking.

"Lily no!" Steve yelled, trying to stop his sister from killing Aiden. Steve didn't like Aiden but he also knew that it wasn't right for him to die.

Lily looked back at Steve. She saw her brother's expression and she dropped Aiden. Aiden groaned in pain. Lily looked down and slowly her eyes turned back their regular baby blue color. She was breathing heavily. She saw her vision blur and passed out.
