11- Waken

Steve visited the girl everyday. He wanted to talk to her but she wouldn't wake up. One week passed and the girl still hadn't woken. Steve started to get worried. What if she didn't wake up?

That's dumb Steve, Steve thought. She'll wake up sooner or later.

As if hearing his thoughts, the girl slowly opened her eyes. Steve sat up in his chair and stared at the girl.

The girl looked around confused. "W- where am I?" she asked in a whisper.

Steve was shocked. He didn't know what to do or what to say. He didn't want to scare the girl.

"Where am I?" the girl asked and quickly sat up. Her heart started beating faster and faster.

"Y- you're safe," Steve quickly said. "You're safe here in Avengers Tower."

"A- Avengers Tower?!" the girl said shocked. "N- no! No! No! I- I can't be here! I- I have to get out of here!"

"You aren't going back to that man or that bar," Steve said in a firm voice.

"B- but I- I- I have to."

"Says who?"

"If I don't go back, they're- they're-" the girl didn't finish her sentence. She started breathing heavily. "I- I have to go." The girl stood and almost fell but Steve caught her.

"Whoa! Hey be careful," Steve said helping the girl sit back down on the bed. "Your leg is still weak. You can't walk yet."

The girl sighed and looked at the floor. There was no way she could get out of Avengers Tower. Not with Captain America there.

"Um. I told Stark if it was okay for you to stay and he said yes. I fixed up a room for you," Steve said. "Well... actually Natasha, Pepper, and Wanda helped me decorate your room and stuff. Your room is right next to mine by the way. So if you need anything you can just go next door to my room."

The girl looked at Steve in awe. "Th- thanks," she said. She had never had anyone do something so nice for her. The last time someone had done something nice for her had been a very long time ago.

"Um I'll ask Bruce if you can get out of this place," Steve said standing up.

"Okay," the girl said.

As soon as Steve was out of the room, a male's voice spoke, "Good job."

The girl gasped and turned to look everywhere, but there was nobody there. The male's voice spoke again, "You know what you have to do. Don't fail me."

"I- I can't," the girl said.

"Why not?!" the male's voice asked furious.

"You know why," the girl said firmly.

"Fine," the male's voice said. "Do it your way. But just remember that I will do what you don't do."

At that moment, Steve came in and said, "Bruce said you don't have to stay here. I'll take you to your room." Steve held out his hand and the girl took it. Steve helped the girl to the room that he- well to the room that Natasha, Pepper, and Wanda had set up for the girl.

"What's your name by way?" Steve asked the girl once they were inside her room.

"My name? Oh- um- it's Olivia," the girl answered.

"Olivia? That's a nice name," Steve said smiling.

"Thanks," Olivia said.

"Well um I'll leave you here so that you can get comfortable," Steve said standing. "Oh by the way your clothes are in here in this closet. The bathroom is in that door. And if you need something then you can just come next door to my room or you can tell JARVIS and he'll tell me."

"JARVIS? Who's that?" Olivia asked.

"It's Tony's AI," Steve explained.

"That is me," JARVIS said. "I can help you with anything that you need Miss Olivia."

"Oh um, thanks, JARVIS," Olivia said.

"You're welcome," JARVIS said. "Oh Steve, Fury would like to see you."

Steve sighed. "I'll be there in a minute. I have to go. But I'll come back later Olivia."

Olivia nodded. "Okay. I'll be here."

Now what does he want?! Steve wondered as he walked to the room where Fury was waiting for him.

"There you are Captain," Fury said. "Who is she?"

"Who is who?" Steve asked.

"That girl you brought about a week ago?" Fury asked impatiently.

"Her name is Olivia," Steve started. "I found her getting beat up by some guy. And she almost got raped."

"So?!" Fury said. "You could have just left her there. That wasn't none of your business."'

"Yes it was my business," Steve argued. "If I hadn't stopped the man, Olivia would probably be very hurt right now."

"That man is from HYDRA," Fury said. "You should have stayed away. That Oliva girl could be a spy."

"I don't think she's a spy," Steve said honestly.

Fury sighed. "You may leave Cap."

Steve nodded and left. He was going to go to Olivia's room but he didn't. He wanted to give her some space. He decided to visit her later. For now, he went to the training room to punch some bags.

"Um JARVIS?" Olivia called to the AI.

"Yes Oliva?" JARVIS asked.

"Where's the kitchen?"

"Walk down stairs and turn to the right," JARVIS answered.

"Okay. Thanks," Olivia said.

"You're welcome," JARVIS said.

Olivia followed JARVIS' instructions and found the kitchen. She was really hungry and wanted something to eat. She opened the cabinets to see what she could find. She opened a cabinet and found a box of pasta. She stretched out her hand but she couldn't reach it. Olivia sighed. She stood on her toes and stretched her arm as far as she could but she still couldn't reach the pasta.

Steve walked into the living room of Avengers Tower after training and saw that Olivia was struggling to get the box of pasta. She would stretch as far as she could but she couldn't reach the box. Steve smiled a bit. Olivia reminded Steve so much of his sister Lily.

"Here. I'll help you," Steve said as he grabbed the box of pasta.

"Thanks," Olivia said.

"No problem," Steve smiled. "How about you sit down while I make us some dinner?"

Olivia nodded. "Okay."

Steve got out the supplies that he needed and started to cook the pasta. When he was finished, Steve served some pasta to Oliva and himself.

As they ate, Steve asked Olivia some things about herself. She would answer some questions but she wouldn't say anything for other questions. Steve was fine with that. He understood her.

After eating, Olivia and Steve walked to their rooms and went to sleep.

I know this chapter wasn't that hexiting but the next chapter will be better. All of the action starts in the next chapter. Well not action but it does get good in the next chapter :)
