CHAPTER 13
*Tara’s POV*
I woke up the next morning really looking forward to lunch with Liam. I wanted my outfit to look cute, casual, and not over thought. But since I was so full of energy this morning, I decided to go for a run before getting ready. I put on my sports tank, shorts and sneakers and pulled my hair up into a pony tail before setting off for to calm my nerves. polyvore.com/taras_running_clothes/set?id=79401757

I got back and really needed a shower, so I went up to the bathroom and stripped. I washed my hair, adding lots of conditioner to make it soft and easier to deal with afterwards. After I washed myself, I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a soft towel around my body before walking to my wardrobe to pick my outfit.
Remember how I said I wanted my outfit not to look ‘over thought’? Well, let’s just say, appearances can be deceiving. It took so long to finally pull together an outfit I was happy with, that using the words ‘not over thought’ would be virtually impossible. I had to tear apart my whole wardrobe just to find something I could compromise with. But eventually, it was done and I was happy with what I picked. polyvore.com/tara_going_to_lunch/set?id=79401017
At 12:30, me and Liam were meeting at a simple little restaurant about a 10 minute drive from my house. I decided I'd get there a little early, and because it was 12:15, I checked to make sure I had everything, and then left.
*Liam’s POV*
I woke up and headed straight for the shower. I was going to make sure everything was perfect at lunch today. I'm not going to overdo it though; I just want to make it simple, but nice. After my shower, I went over to my wardrobe and pulled out a casual, but still appropriate outfit. It was a basic pair of light wash jeans, a grey v-neck and some black Chuck Taylors.
I sprayed some cologne and fixed my hair so it looked presentable. By the time I had finished making sure I’d done everything and had all the things I needed, it was 12:20. So I got in my car and drove to the restaurant.
When I got there, I saw Tara’s car pull up near mine. Perfect timing. I thought to myself as I smiled and got out of the car, waving Tara over. “Hi!” She chirped, cute as ever in her well matched cross outfit. “Hey, I'm liking the style. You look brilliant,” I complemented, causing her to tint a light shade of pink and thank me. “Shall we go inside?” I asked, offering her my arm. “We shall,” she replied, a playful glint in her eyes.
“Can I start you guys off with any drinks?” the waitress asked. I thanked God when she saw me, but didn't fangirl. “Uh, just a sprite thanks,” I said. “Diet Coke please,” Tara added, smiling up at the lady. “Alright, I’ll be back shortly,” She said, and left to get our drinks. “She was nice,” commented Tara. “Yeah, I was just happy when she didn't fangirl. I get kind of sick of it sometimes,” I admitted, chuckling slightly. “I suppose it would become irritating after a while,” Tara agreed.
We laughed and smiled the whole time. Being with Tara makes me really happy, and when Im around her, I can’t think of anybody else. When we had finished, we said goodbye and both set off home, still smiling.
