Epilogue

*Authors POV*

It had been exactly 400 days since the boys came out.

400 days full of love and acceptance.

400 days full of smiles and laughter.

During the cold Christmas holiday the boys (Including Tara, Chloe and Trisha) all decided to go the snow to celebrate Louis’ Birthday as well as Christmas. The weather was freezing and they all soon regretted going to the snow. But one cold night inside Harry’s and Louis’ cabin, they completely lost the feeling of regret.

Because that night Louis bent down on one knee, pulling out a red velvet box that held the one piece of silver that changed Harry’s life.

With the words, “Harry, you are my life. You make me happy when the world around me is crumbling down. You make me laugh when the world around me is crying. You make me feel loved when the world around me is full of hate. Harry.... I love you with my whole heart. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. So Harry, will you marry me?” Harry jumped into Louis’ arms, wrapping his arms around his neck and tying his feet around his torso.

Tears were freely falling down both of their cheeks as Harry spoke over and over again, “Yes”

The next day they woke up to Tara, Chloe and Trisha all screaming, crying and jumping on their bed while chanting; “LARRY, LARRY, LARRY!” They both assumed they eavesdropped on Louis’ proposal. The whole day was full of hugs, tears and happiness as they all celebrated the engagement.

Weeks past and the news had broken to the world about the engagement, and let’s just say, Twitter broke. Both their families were 100% accepting of the two lovebirds and couldn’t be happier. Simon was even on the verge of tears when he heard that they were getting married, and that is a very rare thing to witness.

The next weeks were full of wedding planning. There was so much to do that Louis nearly had another panic attack. Although Harry, being the organized man he is, asked both of their mothers over to look at wedding magazines with them. This thankfully took some of the weight of Louis’ shoulders.

The two women squealed in delight, because they would be finally planning their first wedding for their beautiful sons. Thankfully Jay’s cancer had passed within a matter of months, and she was feeling better than ever.

On Sunday they all piled in Jays family car and drove to ‘Bella Cakes’ to go taste testing for the ideal wedding cake. Hours later, they finally decided on a simple chocolate mud cake that had three levels, getting smaller each level. It had a beautiful Yorkshire Tea flavoured icing that covered top to bottom. And, to top it all off, it had two miniature grooms standing proudly on top. One with curly hair and one with a quiff that lent to the left side. The curly hair figurine was a few millimetres taller than the boy with the quiff, but it all made the difference. The boys couldn’t be happier. Although Louis protested for a few hours that he wasn’t that short... And he lost.

On Monday the boys and their mothers decided to take the day off. Louis and Harry spent the day cuddling on the couch, a full kettle of tea on the coffee table in front of them, watching movies and the occasional snog. Though the peaceful scene didn’t last long as Tara, Trisha and Chloe came barging in demanding o paint the boy’s nails, get them dressed in over flowing dresses and place blonde curly wigs on their heads. Let’s just say they gave up after a good 45 minutes of arguing, and there is a very weird picture in the photo album.

On Tuesday it was officially one week until the big day. They drove all around town separately with their mothers to find the perfect fitting suit. By dinner time, they had all arrived at their shared apartment and stored their suits in different closets so neither of them could see. Anne insisted that they order out Chinees see but Harry offered to cook Stir Fry, which Louis quickly agreed to. Harry cooked the best Stir Fry.
