"Woah." Brad blinked his eyes open tell they were as wide as they could possibly go. I smiled up at him then removed myself from his embrace.

"You should go." I whispered.

"Only if you agree to let me take you out tomorrow." I bit my lip to keep from smiling, but Brad could easily see my eagerness.

"Fine." He smiled down at me and brushed a strand of hair behind my ear then continued to kiss my forehead.

"Goodnight."

*.*.*.

"Are you freaking kidding me! That is adorable! I'm coming over!" Rebecca hadn't shut up since I'd told her about last night.

"I don't know if that's necessary." I argued.

"What? Don't be ridiculous! Give me 10!" Before I could agree she hung up on me. I waited in my room knowing that Rebecca would just walk right in. Soon enough she came bursting through my bedroom door holding a suitcase and a makeup box. I knew it was gonna be a long night. "Tonight you have to look perfect!"

"But why!!" I groaned. "It's just a date not my wedding night!" I argued with her but in my head I had the same thoughts as her. It wasn't just any guy. It was Brad Nordstrom! God if he ever heard me say that I'd never hear the end of it.

"Let's get started grumpy! It's gonna take more than concealer to cover up that attitude!" She joked making me grin with excitement.

The process was long. First I was sent for a shower and then we started on hair. Rebecca curled it very loosely and added some volume. For make up she some how managed to make my skin look flawless. My eyes were simple eyeliner and mascara and my lips were peachy to match my cheeks. Brad told my to dress warmer because we were going to be outside and the weather was starting to get colder. I wore my miss me jeans and a dark grey button up jacket over a black long sleeved plain shirt. My shoes were beige lace up buckle boots with no heel. For the finishing touch Rebecca let me borrow a grey beanie.

"I've done it once again!" She gave herself a little clamp then spritzed me with perfume.

"Thanks Becca. Really I don't know what I'd do with out you." She smiled and batted her eyelashes at me. Just then the doorbell rang. I froze and looked at Rebecca in panic.

"Go! Remember, your beautiful and you don't have to impress Brad he already likes you? Don't be awkward and have fun! Don't do anything I wouldn't do!" I started walking away then heard her add in a sing song voice. "Or don't do anything I would!" I laughed then answered the door.

"Hi." Brad said when he saw me. He was wearing dark jeans and a scuffed up leather jacket. Before I could say hi back Brad grabbed my hand dragging me out the door. "Let's go."

I was glad I wore a long sleeved shirt under my jacket because Brad was right about it being a little cold. He opened the door of his truck for me then jogged around to his side. The heated seat was on already. I blushed thinking about Brad turning it on for me. He stopped and stared at me as if he had forgotten I was here. I blushed and looked back. His mouth was slightly parted. "I don't think I'll ever get over how pretty you always look." His mouth now had shifted into a half smile and it absolutely made me melt.

"So you gonna tell me where we're going?"

"Do I ever?" He winked. After about 5 minutes of silence Brad told me to turn on the radio and look for something good to listen to. I searched around tell I found a station playing my favourite Led Zeppelin song Good Times Bad Times. "You like Led Zeppelin?"

"Don't you?" He stared at me in shock.

"A girl, a nerdy girl likes Led Zeppelin?" I nodded. "I'm not gonna lie. That's kinda hot." I glared at him but he just laughed.
