"Brad I can't! I might die!"
"Alice, I promise you, it's completely safe." I shook my head like a child. No way in hell. Was going on that thing.
I stood I front of Brads motorbike with my arms crossed. This is what he meant when he said he had a surprise for me? Some surprise.. I always hated surprises. "Brad I can't! When did you even get this thing?"
"A couple of years ago, I just stole it back from my brother a couple days ago." I didn't bother prying him about his brother, it was none of my business. "Please Alice, please? For me?" He stared at me with a pleading face. Ugh great now I have to do it.
"Okay. But if I die, everything goes to Rebecca." I grumbled.
"You got it babe, just remember. The tighter you hold, the safer you are." I could practically hear his smirk. Put on the helmet and climbed on with caution. Everything about this bike screamed 'WARNING' but did I listen? No.. Cause I just love the thrill of possible death.
Brad started the bike. It screamed in to my ears making me cover them. "Hold on Bambi!" And with out warning he took off.
In Panic I grabbed on to Brad. I wrapped my arms around him like a toddler does to their favourite toy. I felt the rumble of Brads chest implying at he was laughing. At me.
I opened my eyes to glare, but the only thing that got glared at was Brads back. I growled. The wind didn't effect me cause Brads broad upper body blocked it. Stupid muscles.
Brad made a sharp turn and I yelped. "Brad, be nice!" I used my outside voice straight into his ear.
"Alice chill out. Just enjoy the ride." I hugged on tighter and tried to calm down my terrified self. Alice hold on really tight." Brad warned.
"Wha- ohmigod! Brad what the fuck!" He was pulling a wheelie. I was petrified. After about 5 more agonizing minutes we stopped.
"Com'n Bambi it's over." I didn't move. He pried himself away from me. "Alice we're stopped." I said nothing. "Alice, please. Just open your eyes." I slowly eased the open. It looked like we were at a beach but no one was around and the only thing I could see was water, sand, and a long dirty road going straight away from this place. Shaking, I got off the bike and dropped the helmet.
Not caring what my hair looked like, I stomped away. My chin was high in the air and my arms were crossed. "Bambi wait! Com'n it wasn't that bad." There was humour on his voice. He got close enough and grabbed one of my arms spinning my around. That's when I flipped.
"You ass!" I started punching his chest. "You knew I was scared!" More punches. "Your such a dick!" I punched aiming at his shoulder, but my arm cured up clipping him in the jaw. He didn't fall over but he stumbled back holding on to his face. I ran to him.
"Oh god, I didn't mean to! I am so sorry! Brad are you okay?" I gently moved his hand from his face to see Brad smiling at me.
"You really think you could hurt me Bambs?" I slapped his arm.
"You jerk, I was worried!" Brad stopped me from hitting him again.
"I'm sorry I scared you. I was just fooling around." Then he pecked my cheek. Getting way to close to my lip. "Com'n follow me." He walked past me well I was still in a daze. Bringing my hand up to my face I touched the spot where his lips met.
I jogged to catch up to him. A small boat came into view, it got bigger as we walked towards it. "Brad?" He kept walking taking long strides. I was practically running to stay beside him. Jeez! "Brad?" Okay well that's not working. Plan B.
