Request: I was wondering if you could do a nick Clark imagine. Where y/n is Travis niece visiting from NZ when the apocalypse hit and you have no way of getting home or getting in contact with your family and you feel like an outsider on the boat and Nick comforts you. Then you kiss him and freak out cause you didn't know if he felt the same way you have been feeling and because you are related to Travis y/n thought it might be weird.. Just really fluffy :)

*Requests are closed at the moment due to me having a lot of requests to catch up on!*

When the apocalypse hit, it hit you hard. You had been visiting your uncle Travis in Los Angeles and you were having a great time. You bonded well with his son Chris and even better with his fiancee's kids Alicia and Nick. Nick and you had grown quite close over the time you were there and it was safe to say that you were developing a slight crush on the boy. You had only been there for a few short months before the sickness broke out. When it first happened, you brushed it off as just a coincidence. When the military came and put up the fences around the neighborhood, you started to feel more uneasy. Now here you were, on a boat in the middle of the ocean with no way of getting home or means to contact your family. You had been thinking about your family so much that it was beginning to make your head pound and your heart feel heavy, so you decided to leave the confines of your room and take to the deck to get some fresh air. When you stepped out of your bedroom door, however, you were met with a blur of white. "Woah, hey sorry." You glanced up to see Nick awkwardly standing a few inches away from you. "Uh hey, were you about to come in?" You questioned. He blushed slightly and nodded, clearly a little embarrassed that you had caught him creeping outside of your door. "Uh yeah, actually. I was coming to make sure you were doing okay." You raised your eyebrows at him before pulling him into the room and shutting the door. "What makes you think I'm not okay?" You asked. He leaned his back against the wall and shoved his hands into the pockets of his khaki pants. "I dunno, you just seem a little distant lately..." You couldn't help but agree with him. You felt like a complete outsider on the boat. What made the whole thing worse was that you were having a difficult time trying to cope with all of the different emotions you were feeling at once. "I'm sorry. It's just that... I feel like I don't belong here. I miss my family and what's worse is that I don't even know if they're alive or dead." You said, a single tear escaping from your eye. "Hey," Nick reached out and touched your arm. "Please don't cry. I know it must suck not being with your family, but you're here with us for a reason. I promise you'll find your purpose soon enough." Nick looked at you thoughtfully. You stared at him for a moment, glancing down at his lips then back up at his eyes before leaning in and placing your lips on his. Kissing Nick made you feel like you were on cloud 9, but your high only lasted a few seconds before you realized what you were doing. "Oh my God." Your eyes grew wide and you pulled away from him in a panic, turning around so you couldn't see his face. You had no idea if Nick felt the same way about you and you could have potentially ruined your growing friendship with him. "Nick, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable or anything by doing that. It's just that I've had so many mixed emotions lately and..." You began to ramble before you were silenced by Nick's lips back on yours. He pulled away a moment later, resting his forehead against yours. "Don't worry, I've been wanting to do that for a long time." He smirked. "So it's not awkward? You know, with me being Travis's niece and all?" You questioned. Nick chuckled before he wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you in for a tight hug. "No, not awkward at all. I'm actually kind of glad you made the first move, saved me from trying to figure out how to do it." You simply laughed, burying your face in his neck to hide your blushing face, though it was only you two in the room. You both stood there in eachothers arms for what seemed like ages before you spoke up again.

"Hey Nick?"

"mmhmm?"

"I think I found my purpose."

You didn't have to see his face to know that he was smiling warmly at your words. You no longer felt homesick, for you had found a perfectly good home in Nick's arms.
