Two sisters hold hands as they walk down the dark ally way. I hang from the balcony my feet gripped to the bar at the bottom of the railing.
My hair flowing down.
The taller one turns sensing me.
When she turns her eyes to meet mine, I am already gone.
Letting it slide, she continues forward with the smaller child.

A old couple hides in a corner holding each other.
"You betrayed us." The sisters say in sync. "We loved you."
"And we still do! Please! We never wanted this!" The old man says.
"And you think we did?" Their voices echo with anger. "You killed us."
"We love you sweet daughters. This isn't the way to end your anger."
"Silence!" The old couple now shake with fear. "It is time you regret the choice you made."
I rise from the ground behind them. They are smaller than I am. They jerk around and hiss at me.
"There is no need for you to be here. We can handle them ourselves." The older one says. The smaller one doesn't speak with her in sync. She stares into my eyes.
"Who are you?" They now say in sync with a echo.
I keep my silence. I trail my eyes to the old couple that shake more with fear now that I have arrived.
"You came back for revenge." I now say. "Once you get IT, you will suffer the death you faced for years non end until you get the chance of light. You will greatly be in pain. That humans shouldn't face."
"Horrible people like these old rags deserve it!"
"No one deserves the fate our species must go through. We are the fate people fear. That happens to good people and bad and everyone in between. No body, deserves this."
"Then why did you return? You must've had the chance once before."
"Reasons for my own. But you should not of returned. If you deeply want your revenge, TAKE IT. It may ease the pain of regret. But you won't see the light until many years go by."
The old man speaks. "Please! Forgive us! We deeply regret this!"
"You only regret it now that we have returned..." They then turn to me. "What you didn't see is that we wanted to stop them. We knew if we didn't come and take them away they would continue."
"You say this as if this is my first time."
Shock crosses their face. "I have been a restless spirit for many years."
"H-How? How do you cope with it?"
"There is no explanation for it. Now, strike them. Or I will."
They turn back around to the scared old couple. "What should we call you?"
"I have had many names. Whatever you prefer."
"Very well."

The small one drifts around the two dead corpses. Studying them. I stay standing by the wrapped up couch. A delicate one. One of their prize possessions.
"What's the real reason why you came here?"
"You needed to know-"
The small girl screams. Falling to her knees. I simply watch her. Saying nothing.
The older one drifts over and wraps her arms around her the best she can to comfort her. The smaller one shakes with sadness and in worry.
Which makes me wonder, why?
"There, there. It is now all over. They're gone. We're free."
The small girl says nothing she simply smiles.
They slowly fade away holding each other.
I as well.
