It had been a week since you remembered the crash. A call to your brother had confermed that's what happened. You couldn't believe you'd forgotten it, though now that you remembered it, and him, the memory was burned into your mind. Cronus, he was important, no scratch that, he IS important. Hes you're someone, though apparently he hates you. Youd avoided him since that day it hurting to much. Memories became a more frequent thing to have. Karkats first birthday, your sixteenth one, when you moved in with cronus, everything came flooding back. Though there were still missing pieces you could remember everything else. It was nearing Christmas soon three days after that and would be the one year mark of the crash. Not the most plesant bench mark in your life if you do say so, in fact this whole experience is triggering. You wish you couldn't remember. But you do. A few days before the holiday cronus 'runs into you' (more like he hunted you down cause he was worried hed upset you)
"Oh hey chief." He says playing it off that this was just a coincidence.
"....h-hello cronus...."
"So um...I'vwe noticed you're avwoidin me....care to tell wvhy?"
"....you hate me...thought I would stay out of your way." You instantly notice the look of pure horror cross his face as he realized you remembered the crash.
"Kan I didn't mean that. I wvas bein sarcastic and it came out all wvrong. I don't hate you I nevwer havwe. Please forgivwe me, you don't have to take me back but forgivwe me." Yoh stand there a moment surprised. He didn't mean it...you could forgive him. You nod after a moment. Youd have to think about taking him back. Yes uour heart longed for him, even before your memory returned, but would it be the same as before? Would he loose intrest and then really hate you? Youd have to think things through.
"I'll forgive you...but....I have to think....i...I may actually take you back" a small smile appears on his face.
"Take all the time you need chief, ivwe wvaited this long....I'll be fine wvith either answver I just need to knowv" you nod. He is a man worth loving, no wonder you fell for him so hard.
