It's been a few months since kankri and cronus got back together. Least to say they weren't the only ones happy about it, the lejions screamed about their ship getting back together for damn near an hour.
But life has now returned to normal, at least...for now. Cronus knocks on the bedroom door.
"Kan you ready to go?"
"One minute more cronus." The ampora rolls his eye.
"You been in there for an hour chief I need to grab my phone so we can go"
"I'm sorry I just want to look really good for you ok?"
"Chief you alwvays look really good." He hears a quiet giggle from kankri who opens the door.
"OK I'm done"
"Holy shit" cronus stares at the other, his fluffy hair now smoothed and brushed to look nice a brand new extra bright red sweater hugging his slightly feminine figure in just the right ways, and brand new leggings with a red strip that matched the sweater running down the side.
"What? Does it not look good?" Kanny questions, a little in securely,
"Good? Kan you look great!" Kan smiles.
"Oh, good. OK grab your phone I'll be waiting in the car" he walks off with a cute smile plastered to his face. Cronus steps into the room and grabs his phone and something else and slips both into his pocket. He goes to meet Kanny in the car and their off for their date night.
They arrive at the lake they shared their first kiss by and kankri grabs the picnic basket from the back seat.
"It's lovely tonight"
"Yeah. Not as lovwely as you." Kankri smiles and blushes,
"Hush"
"Nah."
"Cronus!" Kankri laughs as Cronus teases him. "You're terrible"
"I knowv, but you havwe a wvay a bringin out the good in me." Cro smiles and plops down on to the grass, kan does to and sits the basket between them. They eat and talk the night away, after sometime kankri ends up in his lovers lap.
" wvanna wvalk out on the dock?"
"Sure, as long as you don't push me in."
"I wvon't chief"
" OK let's go" kan stands and helps cronus up. They walk to the dock hands held and fingers intertwined. They hold each other as they star gaze pointing out constellations. Cronus only knows orion, aqarius, and the dippers. While kan knows most of them. They fall silent and cronus turns to kankri and holds both his hands.
"Kan, I lovwe you so much. Not a moment goes by wvhen I don't think of you...I'vwe been wvaiting to tell you for awvhile and...wvell...I've lost you once...I can't let it happen again." He kneels before kankri and pulls a small box from his pocket, he opens it revealing a golden ring with a ruby embedded in it. "Kankri vantas wvill you grant me the honor of calling you mine forevwer?" Kankri eyes widen and he practically tackle hugs cronus landing both in the cold water. They finally drag them selves back onto the dock coughing and laughing at themselves. They lay sprawled out staring upwards.
"It's that a yes?"
"It's more than a yes" cronus smiles.
"Great"

"Kankri vantas, do you take cronus as your lawfully wedded husband?"

"And Cronus Ampora do you take kankri as your lawfully wedded husband?"
"Wvithout a doubt"
"Then by the power vested in me, as his father," signless gives cronus 'hurt my child I'll hurt you' look "I pronounce you husbands, you may kiss the vantas."
As the sunsets and shines its golden light through thr chruch windows the two lean in to give each other a sweet kiss, and seal the bond they will now forever hold. As today no longer marks the aniversary of the crash that took kankri from cronus, but the day they will forever know, as their wedding day.
