I really didn't want shit to do with him at this point. He went and got somone pregnant. He was stuck with her and the kid. I honestly didn't think he was that stupid.

I roll my eyes. Yeah right. Me and Corie where going to the mall I'd just tell him to drop me off there. IF i decided to go.

I decided to meet August at the ice cream place. I missed dancing and that must've been the buisness he was talking about.

"Hey." I see him sitting where we use to sit

"What's up." he opens his arms for a hug but I hold my hand out to shake instead and he takes it kind of disappointed

"Okay. So why am I here?" I sit down in front of him

"I need somebody performing with me now that Ashonti is pregnant."

"Okay. I can do that but I want to know something."
I just know Ima regret this shit

"Yeah." I know he can tell by looking in my eyes what the question is

"Is she having your kid?"

"That's what I was told."

"Wow." I swear my stomach dropped.

"Mia." he mumbles

He trys to place his hand on top of mine but I quickly move it. "I actually have to go. Just tell your manager to text me the details."

"Mia."

I walk out calling Corie.

"Mia. What's wrong with you?"

"Tell me." He rubbed my thigh. How would that look if I told Corie about me being bothered by him getting Ashonti pregnant.

"Just missing the stage." I half told the truth I did miss performing

"Aw. Baby girl. You should dance again."

I rest my head in thw crook of his neck

"I met up with August today and he told me he needed a dancer because his girl or whatever she is got pregnant." I didn't say that with much enthusiasm and you coudl tell I wasn't excited nor happy for her

"Ashonti?"

"Yeah you know her?"

He nods "She's pregnant by August?"

"Yeah.."

"Are you good. I know yall use to have a little thing together." he asks looking me i nmy eyes

I casually turn away he knows my tell are my eyes. "I'm fine. Im over August. I got you." I smile kissing his lips causing him to smile

"I should get you pregnant too."
