Anyways, things surprisingly went back to normal. I was still the leader of The Talents and things were just strangely monotonous. Then I noticed why. Where was Riley? I haven't seen her in days. I mean weeks. Where is she? Then I noticed Jonathan taking some books out of his locker. He didn't look like his usual self. I walked up to him, cautious of not getting too close and I asked him where she was. He made a sudden jolt when i said her name then looked at me with a blank and creepy looking expression and said "I don't know", then he locked his locker, picked his bag off the floor, turned around and walked away leaving me confused as shit. How come the person she has been with 24/7 have no idea where the hell she was? Something was seriously not right?

I started asking students if they saw her and when was the last time they did. Most of them agreed that they hadn't seen her around in a while. When I heard that I felt awful. Something was actually wrong. She could be in actual trouble. But how could I, Liv Rivers, a seventeen year old with no clue as to find a missing person, find her and bring her back home. I had no idea what I was getting myself into but what I did know was that i wasn't going to sit on my backside while my friend was somewhere out there, cold, hungry, confused and in pain. so I decided there and then that I was gonna get Riley back and by any means necessary.
