I opened my eyes and sat up. I touched my heart and I closed my eyes, "I will", I got up and changed into some comfortable clothes and went to the supermarket. I bought a bouquet of fresh roses and a packet of cigarettes and I walked to the park. When I got there I stared at the tiny hill with the giant oak. The place was so quiet and peaceful. I walked up the hill and when I reached the top I went on my knees and placed the roses under the oak. I then took out the packet of cigarettes from my back pocket and I opened it and pulled one out and put it between my lips and placed the packet back in my pocket. I closed my eyes and touched my heart and said, "It's a metaphor, see, you put the thing that does the killing between your teeth but you never give it the power to kill you". I opened my eyes, "I won't light it, I promise", I began to smile, "Do you remember where I got that line from?" I said looking up at the sky, "It was that movie we watched when we were younger; The Fault In Our Stars", I sighed. "I won't light it. Rest in Peace my sweet," I kissed my hand and touched the tree and allowed my hand to fall slowly. I got up and walked away and I didn't look back. I didn't have to. Why should I look back when she was walking right next to me. Even though I couldn't see her, I could feel her warmth and I heard a little voice inside me saying, "Now let's start writing the next chapter".
