I never skipped school before and I never left the house without telling my parents where I was going but i knew if I was going to get Riley back that it was going to be a sacrifice I had to make (good bye perfect attendance trophy). for my sixteenth birthday my parents bought me a car so that they didn't have to drive my sorry-ass everywhere. Oh well, I grabbed my keys, picked up my bag and ran to my car. Not knowing where I was going to, I rushed to Subway to grab a sub and then I didn't know where to go from there. I took about twenty minutes to think things through then punched in the address to the cinema and drove off.
When I was there, the guy at the snack bar told me that he had seen Riley at the cinema but never alone. He said she was always accompanied by a tall, muscular, brunette male. By the description that he told me, I knew right away that he was referring to Jonathan. I showed him a picture of Riley and Jonathan together (which was a gift from Riley to me) and he agreed that he was the guy. I asked him if they were there recently but he denied. He explained that he hadn't seen them in a few weeks and he found it strange because they would come to the movies practically every night which was a total waste of money. I mean come on. Every night. Anyways, I thanked the guy for giving me my first lead to the mystery and I wasn't really fond of mysteries in a whole.
