When Speechless.. Just Say Yes

"Intro of darkness, then redness, then whiteness!" Toby did his signature intro to another lazy vlog. You were sat in front of his computer while he spoke to the camera about what was happening.

"So, Y/N hasn't been allowed to go on twitter, or any kind of social media at all today, especially not Youtube.. and if you've seen the video on Tobuscus then you know why. So, I am here, doing a lazy vlog with Y/N sitting right there in front of the video," He pans his phone over to you and you wave shyly. He faces the camera back to him.

"If you have seen the video then you probably know what is about to happen.... so just enjoy watching Y/N watch the video!" He smiles cheekily and keeps the camera on you as he starts the video entitled, "Dear Y/N, I love you"

You stared at the blank screen and waited patiently until clear white words began showing. One word, then two, three, four; the number of ivory adjectives kept increasing until the entire screen was completely white. You smiled slightly when Toby began speaking, but its wasn't his voice from behind you that you heard calling your name. His voice was coming from the monitor that you heard speaking sweetly.

"Y/N, you are beautiful, gorgeous, a precious flower, a unique jewel, a ball of light that makes my life shine. Since the moment I met you I knew that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, and only you. We've been together for what seems like a lifetime and I never want that to end. So while you sit here and watch this video, I'll be standing right next to you. And that is exactly how it will always be. I will always be here for you. No matter what the circumstances. I love you with all my heart, and I never want this to end." You smiled sweetly at his words and kept your eyes glued to the monitor as he began to speak once again. 

"You're probably wondering why you're even watching this video, considering it isn't valentines day or our anniversary; that's right, i know when our anniversary is." He chuckled and kept talking.

"Today is a special day, today was the day we first met. That day two and a half years ago when I was vloging and dropped my phone by accident... here's a clip in case anyone hasn't seen the video..." The screen changed from Toby talking to camera to a lazy vlog style video of the day you first met each other. The first day that he layed his hazel eyes on your perfect face. Perfection in his eyes; but that's all that mattered. HE was mesmerized and dropped his phone. You helped him pick up the other things he had dropped on the pavement and then headed your separate ways, not aware that you would see each other again at a party later that month. Fate is what you both liked to call it. It was fate that you two had happened to each have a friend who knew the person holding the party and both had attended as "plus ones". Every memorie of your amazing roller coaster relationship began to play in your mind and tears started to form. You weren't quite sure why but sure enough, here they came. The best part about it was that you weren't afraid to cry in front of Toby. He would always be there to comfort you, no matter what the case. If you two had gotten into an argument and it ended with you both saying things that you didn't mean then he would still hold you in his arms. Never leaving your side. If you needed space then he knew, without you saying a thing. After you had gotten some time to think about everything he would  wrap his arms around you and hold you close; rubbing your back and kissing your head lightly. You'd hug for awhile and then he'd make some cheesy joke about how he was being an idiot. It was pretty remarkable actually. Everyone wasn't sure if you two would work out considering your personalities colliding, but somehow you just did. Toby was completely serious about this relationship, as were you, and that's what made you both so strong. And now here you are, sitting in his computer chair, watching a video that your amazing boyfriend made for you just to say how much he loved you. It was a great feeling. He continued to compliment you and show video clips of you two over the years while you watched and remembered all those moments you had shared. Out of the corner of your eye you had noticed him setting the camera off the the side so it was facing both you and Toby. You didn't understand why but were to involved in the video to ask, so you left it at that. All of a sudden the screen turned black and white words appeared again; only this time they were telling you to turn around. You spun the chair so you were facing the other direction; surprised at what you saw, you gasped quietly. Toby was down on one knee, holding a small blue Tiffany box in hid hands, and a hopeful grin plastered on his face.

"Y/N, I have put so much effort into being the best I can be for you... And I really hope that I've been doing a good job because... Ugh see? This is why I made a video... I'm much better at those..." He looked away from you and at the floor instead. You smiled widely and took his face in your hands, placing a soft kiss on his lips. He smiled as you pulled away nodding.

"So, what'd you say? Will you marry me, Y/N?" He gave you a charming smile. You didn't know what to say, so you said the one word that was repeatedly going through your head.

"Yes... yes yes yes yes yes!" You squealed a little and attacked him in a hug that almost knocked him onto the ground. He chuckled and hugged you back.

"Awesome, that would've been awkward if you'd said no... But I love you Y/N." He kisses your head and strokes your hair, not wanting this moment to ever end. But hey, at least he got it on camera!
