Saverina's POV

*RIIINNNGGGG*

Thank God the bell rang! I high-tailed it out of there before Jason could even have a chance to talk to me! Hell, or even look at me! I was so stupid to even get involved with him. Of course, he played being the total nice guy, who you can open your heart out to and tell all of your biggest secrets. Nobody had to tell me that he was trouble. I had a suspicion from the start of our relationship. This was over a year ago! I should be over it by now, but I'm not and I don't know why. I realized that I had gotten far enough from the classroom and I could stop walking so fast. Oh my gosh, soccer practice! The team captain can't be late for the first day. Soccer is another one of my talents, but people actually know about this one. I play for a club team, Olympic Development, and my high school so I'm basically in great shape. I'm still walking quickly trying to get to the locker room, when I see Jason and his new girlfriend Brittany, also known as my sworn enemy and co-captain of the soccer team, and he, of all people, knows it! Honestly, I couldn't help but feel a pain in my chest after seeing them together. I mean, it makes so much sense. The hottest and most popular boy and the prettiest, most popular girl, together, they can do anything. Except run me over when I'm having a good day. "Hey there, Brittany, don't want to be late to practice!" I said with a smirk on my face and pointed at my designer watch. She glared right back at me as I walked away with a smile on my face.

*10 minutes later*

"Hey Coach, sorry I'm late. There was a little bit of traffic in the hallways." I winked at Brittany who just got there as well. "It's okay Kid, just get out there and work your butt off for me! I want to win State this year!" "Coach we won State last year! And the year before but who's counting?" He just laughed and blew his whistle to start practice. After a few conditioning drills and passing exercises, it was the first practice of the year so it was easier; Coach blew his whistle for us to come in. Then I noticed the boys' soccer team come out and I got excited. I knew we were going to scrimmage the boys' team. Cameron and my brothers played on that team. Chase plays goalie, Hayden center defense, and Cameron plays right forward, the same position I play. "Alright ladies, let's see what we've got in store this season. I want my same starting lineup, but with Sampson at left back, and Richards at right midfield. Give it to 'em girls!" I get to where I'm supposed to be on the field and look to see some new player on the boys' team, and then I realize who is smirking at me. Jason. He's playing forward with Cameron! Oh, now I'm really bringing the heat. The boys' coach blows the whistle and the games begin.

*Approx. 80 minutes later*

Brittany got the ball in the middle of the field and gives it out to Richards. Richards uses her skill to get on the inside while I'm getting open for the through ball out wide. She passes it through the gap between Hayden and his left defender perfectly. I have a lead on them and since I'm faster than Hayden and I already beat his other defender; I shoot on Chase, goal, upper left-hand corner. "Yes!" I scream pumping my fist in the air. I slap hands with Richards, she really came through. The score was now 1-1 and there's eight minutes left. After a hard battle, we finally won, Richards scored and me assisting. The look on Jason's face was – "Good game, Baby Wilde" Cameron says and holds out his hand. I gladly take it and can't help but feel the tingles in my hand afterwards. "Yeah, you too, Wilson, see you in a few?" "Actually, I was hoping for a ride. Amanda drove me here today, my car's in the shop." He's asking ME for a ride! What is the world coming to? "Yeah, of course, just let me change, alright?" "I'll be here." He flashed me that gorgeous smile of his and walked towards my car. I was all giddy for a second until I came face to face with Jason. "Who's the dude?" He asked rudely. "He's my brothers' best friend and why do you care anyways?" I spat back at him and crossed my arms over my chest. "He was being too friendly with you." "Are you freaking crazy?! We broke up and you have a girlfriend." I reminded him. "Who, that girl you saw me with earlier? She's not my girlfriend, just another one of my victims. I really want you." At first, I felt bad for Brittany, because it seemed like she really liked Jason. And because of me being the caring person I am, I have no choice but to tell her she's being used. Then I was overcome with anger. "How dare you! You are such a sad excuse for a human being! I can't believe I even fell for you!" I spat at him for the second time in a two minute span. "Oh, so you did fall for me? I knew you are in love with me." "Loved. I loved you. As in past tense! You know what, I'm done I have someone waiting for me. Excuse me." I pushed past him and headed into the locker room.

*Cameron's POV*

I can't believe she's actually willing to take me home! The truth is, ever since I first stepped in that girl's house to play with her brothers, I was in love with her. Her brown hair, that wasn't ombre yet, her beautiful smile, her gorgeous hazel eyes, perfect body, and the fact that she could play soccer just as good as me, if not better. I couldn't tell anyone that because I'm best friends with her older and bigger twin brothers, by like two minutes. I had no one else to tell. I could've chosen to tell my big brother Seth, but he was currently working with Mikayla's older brother Landon on that movie. My older sister Amanda is best friends with her sister Jessica, and the rest of my siblings are just too young to understand and my parents are hardly ever home. I have butlers and nannies to talk to, but for some reason, they fear me and call me "sir". I guess that means, I can't tell anyone. Well, it's not like I want everyone to know, because the word spreads quickly and that word could easily get to Mikayla. If I could only just tell her how I feel. "Hey, you, on the blue car," A voice said and shook me out of the inner battle I was having with myself. I saw the new kid Jason. He just came back from; from...I don't remember where he came from, oh well! "Oh, hey Jason, What's up?" "What's up? That's all you have to say!" What is this kid talking about? "I saw you with her." He said. He looked kind of pissed off. "You saw me with who? I wasn't with anybody!" He pushed me up against the tree next to Mikky's car. "What the hell, man? What's your problem?" He grabbed my shirt forcefully. "You're my problem! I want you to stay away from her." "Again, stay away from who?" He had this devilish look in his eyes. "Mikayla! I want you to stay away from Mikayla!"  Okay, this guy's officially crazy. "How do you even know her? It's your first day here!" He turned around and told me, "No, it's not my first day here. I know who you are, Cameron Wilson, and I was here last year. Mikayla is my ex-girlfriend!" He gave me one final shove against the tree, but I was too shocked to care. Mikayla had a boyfriend? How come I didn't know? Do her brothers know? Why would she date him? "Cameron!" I turned my head to see a flustered Mikayla right in front of me. "Thank god, I thought you were dead for a second. What are you thinking so hard about?" "N-nothing." I stuttered, still in shock. I still can't believe that she went out with him. And that he threatened me to stay away from her. Like hell, I would! I don't think Mikayla's going to be happy about this.

ooooooo Jason's in trouble.... I wonder what Mikayla will do to him. I wonder what's gonna happen to Brittany. The next chapter will be dinner at the Wilde's and you'll get to meet the Wilson clan!
